My attempt at soaking the chips for 10-15 minutes in detergent did wonders for the Paulson. They came off incredibly easily with a brush. I'm guessing 5 minutes and a light ultrasonic bath would get them perfect. This chip isn't even oiled.

The ASM chips became soft and the top layer became loose and burnt out.
The hot stamp disappeared because I ran my finger over it and it came off along with the top layer of clay.
Black turned grey..

Retro green just became green.

Although, I must say that the oil helped a little. But, the surface remained porous. .

I don't know what it is, but it damages ASM/CPC chips.
