Bravo! This thread was a mere gripe-and-complain outlet until Captain Toots whooshed in to really blow it up.

Scam, ripoff, whatever. Fair to say no one was strictly ripped off by this guy, in the traditional sense of that phrase. But his behavior was apparently sketchy and unbecoming of someone who wants to be a positive, trusted member of the community. That wasn't the end of the world. Newbs make mistakes. But that's not even the main topic of discussion anymore.

I've seen a couple of of these bad-business warning threads result in the person in question showing up, explaining himself, and making amends in some way, if only an apology. Had Toots explained what happened like a human being talking to other human beings, rather than a self-righteous prick berating what he considers "pixels," this thread could have taken an entirely different direction, and allowed him to protect his reputation, without him taking any material loss.

Instead he showed up and acted like exactly the kind of arrogant, disrespectful twat you'd expect. Shit on OP. Shit on everyone who suggested what he did was wrong. Shit on the site and the community as a whole, and was generally abrasive and obtuse in every reply. He showed us that we should be glad that OP made this an issue so that we know what kind of person Toots is and how he does business, and we can use that to inform any future decisions about whether to do business with him.
