I mostly agree with the sentiment of this post, though it seems over the past couple of years the "dibs" get thrown around a little too freely. If sellers need to adhere to a "dibs" system, then for sure the "dibs" better mean something. I've seen enough occurrences of a member throwing down "dibs", only to come back a while later and release them after reading the actual ad.

It has to go both ways for the system to work. Calling "dibs" and then releasing them isn't really much different than cancelling an auction that has bids on it, but only one of those is a ban-able offence.

I threw up a little every time I typed "dibs"
It absolutely has to be both ways. Can’t agree more.

The truth is that I’m not proud in the least that I started this thread and it’s not something I would typically do. Hopefully it will encourage members to be more mindful of their actions in the future.
If I have to explain it any further, you probably wouldn’t understand anyways.
I wasnt directing anything at you. Despite the 24 pages of whimsical theatre, I did actually learn something. I thought no Dibs meant something totally different.

Thanks. I Didn’t mean to be so direct full at you in my post and my apologies for doing so. I’m happy to hear you’ve learned something from the thread despite the theater.
Fixed that ordinal post for you @ssanel54.

So I was trying to get my son to sleep last night and started randomly laughing again.

And later in the night I showed it to my wife and we both laughed so hard we started crying. Funniest shit I've seen I a while.

I’ve decided the only way this could have been funnier is if someone has said “Not again!”

I just watched the red wedding last night!

King in the north!

Honestly clueless about Game of Thrones but I somehow managed to save that meme from somewhere and keeping it for as long as humanly possible. My wife will never see the end of my bad GIFS and memes. If I knew better I'd have even written it in my wedding vows. "I promise to always be a dirty bastard...."
