Witcher 3 was cross-platform, and while not perfect it's one of my favorite games
My favourite Witcher 3 meme, and also why Triss is easily better:

Less encumbrance, clearly. Lighter load = less stress. Let him into the latrine to drop a deuce - recover 125 stress!I created a separate thread for this pic, but losing money gambling AND getting LESS stressed, what in the holy hell?

First reviews are saying the PC performance isn't good, even at 1080p. Supposedly a day 1 hotfix coming, but let's face it, most of those don't end up fixing much.Hyped for Elden Ring as well! The metacritic score is insane
Stellaris just released their 3.3 Libra update so I'm back on that now
Sounds like an erectile dysfunction medication.
I am finally getting around to picking Witcher 3 back up and trying to finish it. I have a long way to go, only at about 17-20% done. Also, play some of the original Spider-Man on PS4, and with the latest fix for CyberPunk dropping I may finally start playing it.
Then my son wants me to play Zelda on his Switch. So I have a bunch to keep me busy...now if work would just stop getting in the way.
So hyped for this game! Can't wait!Elden Ring getting 10/10 reviews everywhere, only two days to go!!!
Oh no. But they will deliver me a hard copy on Friday. Are you saying you got the game already??
That's a damn shame. Hoping they can sort that outFirst reviews are saying the PC performance isn't good, even at 1080p. Supposedly a day 1 hotfix coming, but let's face it, most of those don't end up fixing much.
Whatever you do, just play through it without looking anything up. The game is super dense so don't feel like you need to min/max anything or squeeze out the "best" ending. Play at your pace and your style.I am finally getting around to picking Witcher 3 back up and trying to finish it.
I played for a couple hours last night on PC. No problems really and my specs aren't great, but I didn't have settings maxed.First reviews are saying the PC performance isn't good, even at 1080p. Supposedly a day 1 hotfix coming, but let's face it, most of those don't end up fixing much.
You may be further along than you think, did you add the 2 expansion packs when you bought it? I just finished the main storyline and I'm only at like 70% complete. Of course this is the first PC game I've played in like 20 something years, so I'm hardly a "gamer" and maybe thats a big factor in the low completion %. Took my time and enjoyed all the side quests (except all the shit out in the water in Skellige), I'm nearly 200 hours in.I am finally getting around to picking Witcher 3 back up and trying to finish it. OH AND PLAY GWENT!

This is my first souls-like game. I mostly avoided them before due to their difficulty but I was always intrigued by them. Just to warn everyone, this game is definitely hard but very satisfying and rewarding.
I spent most of my time mucking around this little area near the beginning of the game trying to clear out these basic enemies. With nothing even remotely close to a mini boss in the area, I still died multiple times (until I learned the game mechanics better and realized that you could target lock the enemies which helped a lot). Yet, at no point was I frustrated at all.
There was no reason provided to me in game that I needed to clear out this area, yet I just felt compelled to overcome the challenge. Finally the last enemy fell and I was so proud of myself. It was then that I found a little hidden staircase going down to a chest with a nice little weapon upgrade that I didn't even know was there, and I felt very rewarded for my efforts.
If you like challenging games, lots of exploration, and creepy as fuck enemies, you should check Elden Ring out.
I am still trying to figure out GWENT...it is confusing to me for some reason.
In terms of card-ish games, I've been dabbling in Storybook Brawl. It's an auto-battler with some Hearthstone origins. Actually quite fun. The strategy is all about building your team and trying to upgrade key units by getting 3 of them, which also nets you a treasure of that unit's level (think relics in Slay the Spire). It's free to play with the only thing to buy being new heros that give you different abilities. You can slowly grind to get them (or pay), and the free ones are balanced just fine as far as I can tell. Good variety even among the free ones. Still in early access, but you wouldn't really know it.Same here, the tutorial was so early in the game (when I wanted to get out and explore and fight) that I completely lost interest, never picked it back up. Maybe I'll try it if I play through again.
