What's the Most Money You Ever LOST in a Single Night? (6 Viewers)

Technically would be $1700 from a circuit tourney buy-in I didn’t cash.

Cash games would be the Saturday at WCB9 around $800ish I think

I’ve lost upwards of near $1500 in a single night playing 1/3 at the casino. I’m a long term winner, but sometimes you run into an aggressive game where you get some big hands and they just keep not going your way.

$1,500 - 3 buy-ins at $2/$5 NLHE. I refuse to go deeper, at least not at the same table.
Same here back when the local games were super soft and I had a five figure year playing 2/5 500max a couple times a month. I ran very well that year but hit my 3BI stop loss a couple times.

Biggest one day meetup loss was Friday at SQM 2019. Started playing .25/.50 PL at 11am, was stuck over $1000 by 8pm. Broke even over the next nine hours for -1075 when the game broke at 4:30am.

Tilting when it happened, but I laugh about it now.

I went to a card room and punted 3200

I was bored. Playing bad. It was PLO. 2/5 ( I think)

I have regrets

I lost a thousand in a single night last year playing $1/$2 NLHE in our weekly home game. No big deal when measured against the number of times where I have won two thousand to twenty-five hundred.

It is a win whenever your big nights in a regular game are two to three x greater than your worst nights.

I guess the most I ever lost in poker in one day was a $1500 WSOP buy-in a few years ago.

Funny this thread came up. Never seen it before. I'm sitting in my car. Just back from the casino. Don't want to walk in the house right now, so I check pcf and this thread is at the top. Lol.. here is what just happened to me. :(
-600... 2x bullets In PLO tourny
-600... table games

Biggest loss in a long long time.
Fml

My worst day was somewhere between $2,000 - $2,500 back when I could afford to play $2-$5. Now with a wife and kids I'd be happy to play $0.25-$0.50. Lol

Lost 7k in declared last hand of night at Wynn 5/10 many years ago when cash used to play at the table. Straddled with KK. Lost everything to nut flush draw that got there on the turn and I made the second nut flush on the river. Was +5k before that hand. Couldn’t sleep much that night. Redeemed myself with +4k the next day at least.

Just 2 weeks ago locally I lose 2k with QQ 4 bet aipf vs AKo 2/3/5/10 deep stack. Flop KKJ  :ROFLMAO:

$300 at blackjack

I've never been stuck more than $100 at poker, but that's the most I've ever been in for :wtf:

$900ish - three 1/3 buy ins at Caesars Palace

flopped Q hi flush vs nut flush
AA lost to QQ all in preflop
AA lost to AKs all in preflop

The AA hands were about 10 minutes apart.

Totally psyched for 5 days of Vegas poker. Dreams crushed by 11 PM the first night. Caesars can suck it, still seem to run like shit there. Venetian has been much better to me.

RESERVED

for bail money I lose after I repeatedly stab Matt at SQM after he continually sucks out on me not realizing what game we’re playing.

(J/K I wouldn’t stab Matt.

It’s easier to run over him in a large sports utility vehicle.)

My worst was 6k in a night of 10/10 PLO with a 25 rock and unlimited restraddles

Got stacks in on the turn for 4k (total pot 8500) with 78% equity, he binks river

Next hand in for 1k, get it in pre against same maniac. I have AAT9 one suit, he has J875 one suit. Flop K64 and he turns straight

Maniac now unstuck, he leaves about 20 minutes later. Super nit already at the table switches to his seat

I build my next 1k up to 1400, limp AAJ5 with nut diamonds, super nit pots, one caller, I limp repot, both call

About 1600 in pot and I have 850 behind. Flop 986 two of my suit. I rip it, both opponents do as well. Super nit has KQT9 ds including diamond blockers

We go twice. First board he turns a King for two pair, I river a diamond, but it's a 9 boating him

Second board comes KK boating him again lol

If this is supposed to be only poker my biggest loss would be between $300-400 playing 1/2 in a casino, like 20 years ago. But, I won a T-shirt, so yay.

Biggest poker win about $1000 in a tournament.

Biggest win at slots would be a $5k progressive on a three coin $5 machine of Blazing 7's, won it in only 3 spins.

Biggest slot loss in a night around $1200-1300.

$400 in one night. At the Colorado meet up I lost $400 on WED, THUR, and FRI. Then binked the tourney on SAT to almost break even for the weekend lol

$150 playing $1/2. Back to back hands vs OMC on a cruise ship. Got dealt KK & JJ. I should have reloaded, but was tilted.
