Also, a bunch of the conference rooms in my office have lots of glass walls, we call them fishbowls. They echo a lot inside and they pick up a shocking amount of noise from the outside even when closed, they are terrible.

Made an incredibly silly mistake and am sick about it.

I had to leave the stream at 8pm to get to dinner, and started playing more and more hands. I was up against lucky and Reza with Q8, and a board came down of 8 9 10 rainbow.

I made a small bet, Lucky raised like he usually does, reza reraised. I didn’t think through the hand properly, but both felt like bluff moves, and with one paid and the gut shot, I made a move to push all in.

Unfortunately, they both hand JQ.

It was a terrible, terrible play because I was in a hurry to leave, and my lesson is learned.

I will say that until then, I was hanging in there with the best of them and felt good about a lot of things I did. Sometimes, one hand just fucks you.

Ugh.

I've actually lost some respect for Ivey - agreeing to this massive stream, having the team promote it, and then both nights stay for two hours and then leave. It's just not considerate given the situation.
