8V Compression Clay Blowout Sale (5 Viewers)

OK, I'm pulling the trigger on this. This is what I am thinking

1,000 chips for a T20,000 freezeout with a maximum of 26 players. Basing it off of a tournament setup that @BGinGA gave me, and trending it forward to 1,000 chips, I've got

T25 275 chips
T100 275 chips
T500 125 chips
T1000 275 chips
T5000 50 chips

That gives me a total bank of 621,875 which covers 26 T20,000 stacks, plus coloring out the 25, 100 and 500's.

I definitely want to incorporate the brown, purple and pink chips, since I don't currently have those colors. Anybody got an idea, that doesn't include red and green, for a color progression using those three colors? Off the top of my head I am thinking
T25 - brown
T100 - pink
T500 - purple
T1000 - grey
T5000 - black

Thoughts?

Bump 275s up to 300s
Bump 125 up to 150.

Otherwise your racks are going to look like shit with 5 that dont fit in a barrel. The ones you dont need just get put into a chip-box to replace broken or lost chips.

I just ordered a 25k rebuy set.. starting blinds are 100/200. So I went with this breakdown.

T100 x 225 Black [10]
T500 x 225 Purple [10]
T1K x 125 Grey [4]
T5K x 125 Pink [3]
T25K x 75 blue [for re-entry]

Starting stacks are noted in [ ]

I am Probably going to leave the chips plain as blanks and use this as a bar game tourney set.

Love it, but people in a bar remembering which chip is which denom in a tourney sounds scary:nailbite:

They’re using dice chips now... lol and they use both white AND blue dice chips as T500... if they can keep THAT shit straight, they should be good with these 8Vs. Lol

I'd probably go with the following, just to a) avoid using purple and black chips simultaneously, and b) slightly more conventional colors (sorta):

T25 - purple
T100 - grey
T500 - pink
T1000 - brown
T5000 - black

Even @Trihonda is getting in on this!

We just need @BGinGA to order and then we know it's the end times, regressing back to China clays! He already vouched for them so you know their good.

Also I just placed my 4th order for another 600 but this time for a friend I convinced. 2200 total in route.

Achievement unlocked.

I don’t know about the longevity and brittleness across ALL these chips but I just grabbed a barrell of greens and did a quick & crude test. I tried to break them by squeezing in my fist....nothing. I took one chip and hit other chips with them in my hands...nothing. I dropped them one by one and by the barrel from about 4’ up onto a concrete floor...nothing. I’m good with this for now.

Edit: Not that any of this “testing” has anything to do with real playability of chips on felt but I figured I would humor everyone. :)

Nice confidence boost for anyone worried about these, buy before their gone.

Do they burn?

Truth be told, .10/chip made these fall into the “donate to a decent bar game so they don’t have to use dice chips” category.

I have CPC's and nicer semi-custom ceramics. These don't leave my house however.

The 8V's I ordered will ultimately comprise separate cash and tourney sets for travel... and thus will insure there is never ANY reason to play with dice chips. ;)

Everyone knows there's only one reason to play with dice chips... as hockey pucks!

@ABC Gifts and Awards do you have any of those?
We have a ton of the cheap chip trays, but they are all the same size and are too small for the 8V's.

Hey Gene, @ABC Gifts and Awards how is the blow out going? Still selling?
The sale is still going strong! About half the pallet has been sold, and our Fedex and USPS carriers are not at all happy about it. :ROFLMAO:

The deal to sell all of the rest of the chips fell through...because there weren't any reds. Oh well...more for all of you to pick up at this ridiculously low pricing.

I can't wait to see more of these labeled up, whether we do the labels or someone else does them!

I might have to give a prize to the person who places the most orders...there are a few of you in the running! ;)(y)

Thanks,
Gene
