8V Compression Clay Blowout Sale (5 Viewers)

We have a ton of the cheap chip trays, but they are all the same size and are too small for the 8V's.

The sale is still going strong! About half the pallet has been sold, and our Fedex and USPS carriers are not at all happy about it. :ROFLMAO:

The deal to sell all of the rest of the chips fell through...because there weren't any reds. Oh well...more for all of you to pick up at this ridiculously low pricing.

I can't wait to see more of these labeled up, whether we do the labels or someone else does them!

I might have to give a prize to the person who places the most orders...there are a few of you in the running! ;)(y)

Thanks,
Gene

Sweeeeet. If reds or yellows magically show up I might have to place my 17th order.

2nd order for me is likely coming later today or early tomorrow. Goddamnit, why'd I go down this chip hole again...

Yup, think I'm back into the chip collecting hole... now I'm thinking of a potential oversized $20 and $100 for the cash set.

Add-on PM sent for 200 white, 50 black, 50 purple. Going full 8V for the set & scrapping the white and orange solids I already had... this lets me redo the old solids as a tournament set.

I'm so tempted to order some even though I have absolutely no need for these, I even have a design idea I played around with years ago I could dust off for these.

Both designs are good enough to where it'd be hard to choose.

....or don't choose at all and put them both on either side of the chip. :D

Out of curiosity, are these molds no longer being manufactured?
Gene might know more specifics, but I think the last time PGI's greek key mold was used was for these 8V chips.

China clay mold components wear out pretty quickly (part of the reason for thickness and other variations), so I'd guess new ones would need to be made if any future greek key mold cc chips were to be produced...... and that's only if ABC has any interest in getting into the cc chip business at all.

The mold design itself -- both the BCC version and both PGI versions -- were designed by @Johnny5 of J5 Design.

What did you get?

Building a way-too-big-for-my-needs cash set.

Pink nickel 100
Black quarter 200
White $1 300
Green $5 200
Brown $20 100

I could easily have cut a few hundred chips, but at these prices + international shipping.. Why the hell not. Will post pics when the blanks arrive + when the chips are done!

Nice! That’s exactly what I did 7 years ago. Bought 900 of these even though didn’t need that many. Nice to have a big set laying around just in case
