Why the F is it always $329.99 in mass, how are we F’in so different…
A lot of people prefer to replace the felt with SSC or use a topper on these anyway. There is a current topper group buy going on nowWhen installing cup holders did anyone else run into their felt and create some creases in the playing surface? The creases/wrinkles are not large, but there are a couple in the grey playing surface as a result of the hole saw catching it under the rail.

I am not sure, I think I would have to take the bottom off the table, cupholders out, rail off, etc. Complete disassembly. Can you remove the arm rest in that section and pull the felt tight then staple it?
You could just get a topper for the table... that would be the easiest fix. When installing cup holders did anyone else run into their felt and create some creases in the playing surface? Can you elaborate on how the Costco table upgrade is a tougher task? Is it just the LED issues?View attachment 1437211View attachment 1437212View attachment 1437213View attachment 1437214
Finally upgraded cupholders on my costco barrington. I had done the Walmart non led upgrade a few months ago, this costco upgrade was definitely a tougher task to complete.
Question - anyone know how to properly hook this dimmer? Bought the one rec on this thread, but not having any luck with it. If I plug the table direct into the wall and connect the dimmer it kinda works but it takes like the full knob turn to barley get a dim. Hooking it with the battery block it gives no response
It's possible the stock LEDs are not the dimmable type but the COB LEDs that some have upgraded to are dimmable. I know some LEDs can be finicky with a drop in voltage that a standard dimmer provides.View attachment 1437211View attachment 1437212View attachment 1437213View attachment 1437214

it definitely is a better made table than the walmart one. Heavier I would guess from the thicker plywood, so took me a lot longer. May not be an issue if you have a good drill, mine is mid. Lots of glue, lots of staples after sawing through every first level. Had to pull a couple staples out at every hole then the second level was just thick so just took time for me. No issues with the led during the upgrade. Lots of good info on the this thread for the cup holder replacement, if ya follow it shouldn't run into any problems you can't get around. Those PWM rotary dimmers for LEDs are not bi-directional - you have to have the “input” pigtail connected to your battery pack and the “output” pigtail to the LEDs.
Easy to miss and not a big deal, unless your battery and/or LED strip has a M connector where you want a F connector - then you’ll need an adapter or need to cut/splice a connector or two.
I encountered this with the rechargeable battery pack that I’m using, but it came with a Y-connector cable with both M and F plugs so I shoved that in the chain and all was good.
getting me a price adjustment tomorrow!! ... do i need a third table...View attachment 1439237Went on sale at Costco to the lowest price I’ve seen. Had a relative pick it up for me since it was in San Diego.
Interested in this as well. Seems this would be a more elegant solution than a dimmer if possibleAnyone have a preference for a diffuser?
Can’t you just say you will buy it and return it with the outside 30 day receipt? In Omaha it was $199 yesterday. $149 today. Outside my 30 days. Dang.
What’s that do? The above instructions on the recommended dimmer workedInterested in this as well. Seems this would be a more elegant solution than a dimmer if possible
Yes I could but won’t. I am already down to $169 with multiple price adjustments so it is $20. My table also has 9 new cup holders in it since I bought it (10th broke upon install). So the table I bought is not in a condition to actually return. Can’t you just say you will buy it and return it with the outside 30 day receipt?
Oh hell no I wouldn’t actually load it up from home for $20. Just meant saying it to them, for them to then just process it. But if they were in the store you could buy it new then wheel it to CS and return it with the $169 receipt if they wanna play games.Yes I could but won’t. A plastic diffuser strip in front of the LEDs, so the light from them is more of a solid bar than pinpoint LEDs (That are harsh). Dimming them is one solution but it doesn't solve the pinpoint look...there's not a lot of room there for a strip though. I might try something if I can find the right diffuser material. What’s that do? The above instructions on the recommended dimmer worked
Spending money on a diffuser that may or may not eliminate the pinpoint effect may not be the best option. Placing a strip of COB led lights directly in front of the existing led lights may be a more expensive option, but users earlier in this thread have shown it to be a very attractive solution.A plastic diffuser strip in front of the LEDs, so the light from them is more of a solid bar than pinpoint LEDs (That are harsh). i feel like i've seen you talking about doing it forever on the barrington threads! haha, new year new poker table... do it!Spending money on a diffuser that may or may not eliminate the pinpoint effect may not be the best option. I have yet to purchase the cob light strip, but it’s in the plan.
Yeah, been dragging my feet on the light upgrade. Hell, I still have the hole saw and large cup holders, but haven’t done that either.i feel like i've seen you talking about doing it forever on the barrington threads! haha, new year new poker table... do it!
the dimmer ended up working for me after blk's suggestion, i thought i had tried it every which way.

That's the bag I have, it's great. Still prefer 2 people to carry if possible because the table is so heavy, but that bag is great protection.
