I don’t believe so. Another member was interested in security for the high stacks cash game the chips were intended for and decided to have the chips etched back stateside.
Ahh. Thanks.

Does the vendor offer RFID, UV, or other security features?
It's very necessary if you were going to use these in a real poker room. Because honestly, once Tina has your artwork, she would probably sell your chips to anyone.I don't think it's necessary bc these chips are relatively not common to come by being custom

no idea. @Eloe2000 said he didn't think so. I'm curious about the etching process. What does that entail Evan?So do you know if Tina has security features they can add?

I'm running the Aria's GB right now, so I can ask her. But I suspect if Evan doesn't think so, that he has probably already asked.ah ok. Well whoever starts the next GB I will ask them if they can ask the vendor. Thanks.

I'm not really that savvy on what can or can't be done, but if you will PM me exactly what you want me to ask, I'll forward it on to Tina.
It was Krish and I just know what he had discussed in that thread asking for help identifying an inexpensive custom fast turn around set maker. Lots of discussion on his options but he ended up going back to Tina and said he was going to have the chips serialized and etched in the US.
I recall conversations and the conclusion that they can’t offer real security features but I don’t recall details. It’s worth asking though. My point was more along the lines of, if you are really concerned about security don’t order “secure” chips from an Alibaba etailer. But if you want RFID embedded there are some options out there that have been discussed somewhere. I would just search for RFID here in the forum.

@SUN-FLY Poker Chips offer RFID chips I think. Or other security features like waterark.

Thanks. I have been searching around. Since I saw these GB I thought I would ask.
I am just looking for if they offer RFID chips, UV markings, etc. for the chips so I can add sensors and track the chips on my table. The UV light is so the table can have blacklight lighting. I have a lot of specific questions that really only the vendor could answer. But I just want to know if they offer it before I reach out to them for my order. If you could just ask if they have security features and how much extra per chip that would enough. Thank you.
There are UV inks available for dye sublimation printing, so I'm betting that they could do it in theory. Whether they've got the necessary setup and logistics to do it in practice is another matter. They might not have used those inks before, might not have a supplier, might not have experience working with the inks, might not be able to guarantee good results, etc etc...Perhaps they would be capable of a black light image?
How thin is an RFID chip? There were posts a few days ago showing a new hybrid chip that Tina's company will be making. Could the RFID chip be put under the label of a hybrid? Or could something be incorporated into the label like the miniature image that Paulson uses on their inlays? No doubt, were some of the nice early run chips not posted on Alibaba as examples. No doubt if asked they could be printed for whoever wanted. Still a very secure option for the average game anywhere....if a regular site with large $ rolling through then a cost model where chips are rotated in and out in a very short timespan or a more secure system of quality control would be best.
The Card's Mold Chips are custom printed chips on a while ceramic blank. I do not believe it would be possible to add the RFID etc after the production of the ceramic blank. These blanks would likely be printed in very large # and kept in stock.....I suppose a line of ceramics could be made with RFID's but this type of addition along with the paired quality control would make these things completely cost prohibitive in a mass production low cost model.
It would be great but there is likely zero chance this could be offered with any reliability or cost savings
Perhaps they would be capable of a black light image?

Did you mean to write a haiku? There was a post here
But it was removed today
Wonder what it was
I definitely read that in my head as a haikuDid you mean to write a haiku?
Yes indeed I didDid you mean to write a haiku?
Tell me about these racks. What do y’all use them for? Are the great with the cards mold chips?
https://www.theatlantic.com/technol...-supply-chain-nightmare-slow-shipping/620147/Just FYI, as has been mentioned before, container shipping costs and times are skyrocketing. Particularly for those goods landing on the west coast, including ours from China. Chips delivery prices and delivery times will continue to climb.
So what you’re telling me is that it might be quicker for me to sail over there and get them myself? Alright, I’m building a boat now.Just FYI, as has been mentioned before, container shipping costs and times are skyrocketing. Hey Folks.
I'm working away on a card mold design for a cash set - I have downloaded as many templates as I can find - but seem to be missing a few templates for rolling edges. I am working off the 'Semi-custom_Design_options.ai' file - which seems to have almost all face patterns/templates covered, but not all of the rolling edges, unless I'm being dense?
ATM I'm trying to find a template for a tri-moon, and bear claw.
Anyone able to hook me up, or point me in the right direction?
@Eloe2000 @SeanGecko
[Tagging as you guys seem to be King's at designing sets]
Thanks! Matt
