A Tina ceramic chip, no matter the mold, will never look or feel like a Paulson chip. With this in mind, people basically believe that instead of making such an egregious knock-off with zero regard as to the legality of the whole thing, why not just stick with the more obvious and distinct product (card mold/no mold/hybrid) while still being able to end up with a relatively quality and affordable chip? I guess the whole thing is kind of a worrying trend/slippery slope for those that believe this could be the start of something that negatively effects the hobby, especially with regard to copies of already existing Paulsons that are out there in quantity, or even worse, people's custom artwork/sets. I'm not exactly sure where I draw the line myself.
That said, I certainly understand why the TinaHC mold is appealing to many, especially as to fully custom sets. I strongly considered it for my Tina chips but ultimately opted for the Card Mold for my tributes. Also, people are sleeping on the hybrids.
It's an interesting topic for sure. Not sure this is the right thread for it, but I am curious as to where most people stand, although I suspect most don't really give a shit.
