Cards Mold/"Tina" Alibaba Ceramics Master Consolidated Info Thread (5 Viewers)

SO its official... Just opened my DHL delivery from Tina (photos of chips to eventually follow) and packed inside was a nice "Gift"... I placed my order on October 10th, so exactly 3 weeks from order to delivery (Tennessee)...

Dealer Button she sent is normal size, and feels like the same material as the chips. Not as nice as BRProPoker's DB's, of course...

BUT this 100% confirms the new mold she has coming out... No other materials or info in my delivery - just chips and the promo DB...

When you say "regular size" DB, what are you saying? The biggest DB that Tina has produced that I'm aware of is either a 55mm that's only 3.3mm thick (same as cards mold chips, or a 50mm DB that is 5mm thick. The BR Pro Poker DBs are 60mm and 5.5mm thick. If Tina is now producing a BR PP sized DB, that's a game changer.

Couple samples

Tina's dealer buttons are 52mm x 5mm.
Tina has multiple sizes that "could" be used for a DB. Unless she has recently added something new, these are what she used to offer. Also shown are her ceramic plaque options.

The Scrub Donkeys, one of the first GBs commissioned from Tina, before @SeanGecko started his Cards mold GBs used the 55 x 3.3. I have one, and it's pretty pathetic. I would like to see the 52 x 5, but I haven't had a chance to handle one yet. I wouldn't use that size for a DB, but it might make a nice Bounty, All-In, Show-em, Seating Chip, or other miscellaneous chip.

Hi everyone!

I’m looking to get a decent tournament set for my club, and judging by this thread, the card molds are the ones to have.

As I’m based in Europe, and wouldn’t be able to participate in the group buy, would anyone be kind enough to DM me the name of the vendors that Tina and Anita work for?

I’d be forever in your debt!

I just got these from Tina. They took over a month due to some delays but not bad timing. They are a little more matte than other samples I've got but it makes them feel almost clay like so I'm not going to complain. Although if you are designing chips, I would say away from red if you can. Doesn't seem to print as good as the other colors.

Hmmm. First time I recall hearing about problems with reds. Who was your designer? Anything I've ever seen from @timinater or @Johnny5 has had some great reds.

Here are some nice ones next to some similar colored Paulson red chips.

I've seen several comments about red not filling in the card molds as good. I don't think it's the designer, I think it's the printer. It's not horrible but definitely not as good as the rest.

What was your artwork like? I haven't seen any CM chips that differ in anything other than colour balance from their submitted designs. I've recently received sample images for the set I'm getting and they're spot on.

I think he meant that the designers that have done these before may have a better CMYK mix for the red that works.

Artwork was fine. It's more of the saturation level of the ink.

You can see the orange is fine but the red are blow out, pooling of ink in some card molds and not enough in others.

I just gave Tina my inlay designs. She put together the colors based on the shots I gave her from the Paulson design tool…
I personally would stay away from red. I've even seen my issue on Aria $5. Yellow is a great color for the $5. Again, just my 2cents.

Sorry, I misunderstood the issue. I thought you were unhappy with the shade of red. That you didn't get what you were expecting.

The shade is good, but a little dark. But that doesn't bother me as much as the level of fill. It's not a huge issue, it's just the rest are way nicer. For the price, I can't complain too much.

Any Canadians interested in a TINA group buy exclusive to Canada? She's told me that the THandC mold will be available on orders in one month!!

The shipping cost to Canada is hefty so I'd rather not go it alone..

My red chips have colour consistency issues as well. On the rolling edge there is a section where the rim layers over and the ink is slightly faded....almost as if the ink was running low in spots. I

Top hat and cane mold on Tina's ceramics? Where in Canada are you located?

I would be interested in more info on a Canadian Group buy. Located in New Brunswick.

Do they look like these?

If so, no worries…I don’t care…and obviously it is not my original artwork, just something I copied.
Yes they are the ones.
I even asked Tina and she added a 100K chip (this again made me think it was an in-house design). Thanks for being ok with me using your design, it wasn’t my intention to use anyone else’s work.
Thanks
Memphis
Did someone run a GB on these? because, guess what... Someone is now trying to sell them on FB Marketplace at a 150% markup. AND trying to pass them off as the real thing.

Anyone know if this guy is on PCF? Emmanuel Dos Reis?
