When are you watching those? All I ever see on PokerGo are reruns of High Stakes Poker and Poker After Dark, and the occasional original programming.Just been watching some of the old WSOP tourneys on Poker Go, 1979,180s etc.

I can’t imagine insurance happens in tournaments any more, and I’m surprised to hear it ever did.Something I just remembered from watching a few of the earlier WSOPs.
Insurance on the all-ins !!
Jack Binion coming over and setting the odds
I was like wtf is going on ?
Tbh I still don’t exactly know how that works.

I’ve certainly seen Helmuth do on streams of cash games, many times.
I guess I could see it. Those early events were buy in for $10,000 and get $10,000 in chips, winner take all - none of this no cash value T100 chip stuff. Maybe they treated them exactly like cash games, except you couldn’t cash out. For all I know, they invented the tournament format. So in that context, I guess insurance wouldn’t surprise me.this was back when the narrator says.."so many people attending this year they had to open another table.."
2 table main event. LOL.

... speaking of which:
Religious services without references to specific religions are nondenominational.
Poker chips without numbers are nondenominated.
Atheist clubs are non-prophet organizations
THIS. So the new rule would be "no thread crapping UNTIL others start pumping it." Then post away as long as you are expressing an opinion or stating facts. We should be allowed to thread crap when someone is posting way overpriced chips and there’s a bunch of “I can’t believe that these haven’t sold yet at this price” and “great price” posts in the thread.
THIS. So the new rule would be "no thread crapping UNTIL others start pumping it." Then post away as long as you are expressing an opinion or stating facts.
Also, posting a link to the thread where the buyer purchased the chips at half his asking price should NOT be considered thread crapping.
That reminds me of the "Players don't muck, players discard and the dealer mucks" trope. Yes it's true, but good luck getting thousands of people to change their ways.... speaking of which:

I've literally followed ads specifically because the seller was gouging and in one case was selling something at a huge markup over what he paid less than a week earlier. And I've watched as new members bought overpriced chips that had been pumped by others that they could have bought elsewhere for less. So yeah, these new and inactive members are exactly the ones I'm suggesting deserve a little protection from those of us who know better.I’m indifferent to thread crapping in general but it’s pretty shitty to penalize people for others giving undue/unsolicited compliments.
How often does pumping even do anything? Do people actually buy because someone says “wow huge, this’ll go fast”? Maybe it dupes a member whose been on here for less than a month once in a blue moon but usually it’s just background noise that’ll give your eyelids a bit of a workout.
1000% hard to bite your tongue sometimes! That's for sure and definitely pretty slimy when the fluffers talk them up! I absolutely concur good sir!I've literally followed ads specifically because the seller was gouging and in one case was selling something at a huge markup over what he paid less than a week earlier. Also, I don't think I said anything about penalizing anyone. My suggestion merely balances the scales with some pumping while others are warning to proceed with caution. I'm more interested in protecting unknowing neophytes than I am protecting flippers and gougers. Some of the pumping posts are so downright dishonest they are almost certainly close friends of the sellers doing it intentionally.
Probably not Controversial, but my rankings are
Leaded TRK > Leaded THC > Leaded RHC > BCC Heavyweights > TRK > THC > RHC > CIC > BCC > ASM > CPC > B&G > Matsui > Ceramic > everything else
Please excuse my ignorance, but what are BCC heavyweights? I have some C&S mold chips (only a few) and they're only 9 grams, so not particularly heavy. But C&S ranks above ANY RHC for me. And about equal to non leaded THC.The only thing controversial about that opinion is that it'll get you kicked out of the Controversial Opinion Club.
I wouldn't bet on it happening. That reminds me of the "Players don't muck, players discard and the dealer mucks" trope. Yes it's true, but good luck getting thousands of people to change their ways.

I don't like CiC chips, so put them at the very bottom of MY list. I would also put my 8V and Spirit mold china clays above anything platistic, even the expensive ones.
How's that for controversial!![]()
Our Grand Cardroom Solids are 9.6 - 10... I couldn't believe it! Absolutely amazing feel to those BCCsBCC had a heavyweights option for which added metallic flakes to chips. This was available for the home market custom chips and several of the bigger group buys opted for this.
It would bring the chips to 9-10g which typically it was around. 8 grams.
I believe samurais and High Roller V2 are heavyweights. I know there’s others but I e owned these two
Because they get dirtier faster than other colors and having it as your work horse? If that is what you mean then 100% I concur, even though most of our $1s are white! LmaoWhite $1 chips are stupid

Whatttt???Raise your stakes!
Stop serving food at the table!
Buy an ultrasonic!
Ones should be white, and white chips should be ones.
