your viewpoint is not shared by allNAGB chips shouldn’t be considered rare nor collectors.

Ya but what did you have to go through to get em?These are not hard to harvest. Scored 81 last night from one trip to the cage.
Before:

Took the dirtiest chips and hit them quick with dish soap and a toothbrush. Should clean up nicely after the ultrasonic. Left barrel, after cleanup:

Still better than RHC

Make it so.Here's a controversial opinion:
I think thread crapping should be allowed. Limited to just one crap post per person, to keep from clogging up the thread. The owner could respond and the crapper would just have to stand by his initial post (or post a retraction).
If someone asked for an outrageous amount for a rack, the community could make it known to a prospective buyer that you might get these cheaper elsewhere. The seller could defend (It took me 30 hours and $900 at the tables to collect these!). Then only another PCFer could respond, not the crapper - and they would only get the one post to crap (Why should I be the recoup of your gambling losses).
If there are sufficient different posters telling the seller to bring down the price, they might actually do so (as opposed to weekly bumps for 3 months).
I would agree until someone thread craps one of my threads. Rule seems fine in theory but if it affects me or my sale in any way I'm against it. Rules for thee, ya know? Here's a controversial opinion:

Very much agree with the general sentiment AND really like this suggested implementation. Though I’m not sure how it’ll be policed. Can a crapper say “I agree” with something someone else said or is that a second crapping? Does agreeing or adding onto someone else’s crap make one a crapper or can you still crap on your own? Here's a controversial opinion:

Believe that secondary crap is still crap, rectangles and squares.Very much agree with the general sentiment AND really like this suggested implementation. Though I’m not sure how it’ll be policed. Yeah, but that means you have to go to Detroit.Just checked... it's cheaper to fly from Honolulu to Detroit and back to pick up a rack in person than it is to buy casino used in the recent listing. Another two barrels pays for the hotel for the weekend.
Definitely a good opportunity for the locals, no airfare required.
Mods police thread crapping now. Do it and get warmed/post gets deleted/account suspended.Though I’m not sure how it’ll be policed
In theory, I like the idea of allowing anyone to post relevant, factual information in a sale thread: this $1000 rack is available here for $300, etc. Even as a seller, I would appreciate it.Here's a controversial opinion:

At this rate we should just buy the chips locallyremove classifieds altogether. remove PM's. this way only friends can sell to each other (txt message; you wouldn't give your number to someone you don't like, would you?). senior members can't rip off newbies this way.
only way to sell publicly is through auctions, with no reserve pricing. Bids do not bump the thread. If you want to sell immediately, ie in a week, you risk selling the chips for like $10 because no one wants to bid. If you want to squeeze the max, set the auction to a couple months to give buyers a chance to set prices.
let chaos ensue
The modding is a thankless job, unpaid job, volunteers, etc. is a bs cop out. Not specifically for here, but anywhere.Applications for mods are in the first drawer on the left.
Wait.
Nevermind.
I didn't say that.but I'll lolz all day at anyone saying that modding is effective, organized, useful, or based on any standard.
i will say i prefer buying locally, feels more like chipping than constantly refreshing pcf and getting that instant gratification of sending random internet people thousands of dollars. At this rate we should just buy the chips locally
I'm waiting for the new implementation.i will say i prefer buying locally, feels more like chipping than constantly refreshing pcf and getting that instant gratification of sending random internet people thousands of dollars.
before I get flamed, i actually don't think classifieds or pm's should be removed lol. I do think classifieds need to be revamped somehow to see prices and price history easier. one can dream.
