Agree 100%When I practice regularly for IPSC my problem always ways. I matter how many rounds I loaded I never had any left for the next week
Vicious cycle
I can honestly say, I don't own a shotgun.....
"A fair amount" more is always better lol neve know when they run outI'm afraid and also very intrigued to know how many rounds of ammo you and Ben have lol
Machetes are fun lolDon’t own a single gun (enjoyed shooting for the first time last year), but I used to know where to go in case of a zombie apocalypse. Now I’m screwed. Time to start sharpening wood...
2000 rounds for each gun..."A fair amount" more is always better lol neve know when they run out
Any recommendation on good shotguns at reasonable prices?
I went with a Mossberg 590A1. Primary use is home defense.Own a Glock 19 Gen 4, but meaning to pick up a shotgun, mostly for the wife. Waiting for a better financial position in life before getting more.

House defense.For what use?

House defense.
What would you say is your best bang for the buck (no pun intended) clay gun? I've only done that twice but used a friend's shotgun. It's pretty fun and I'd like to go more often.Got it. I'm sure someone else will be able to chime in. Mossberg is a pretty popular name for that type of thing. I only own shotguns for sporting clay use, so I can't speak to which models might be best for home defense.
Grab a old Remington 870 bird gun. Pump action, but accurate and easy to shoot. What would you say is your best bang for the buck (no pun intended) clay gun? I've only done that twice but used a friend's shotgun. It's pretty fun and I'd like to go more often.
I have a Mossberg 12ga semi-auto - 590 series.Got it. I'm sure someone else will be able to chime in. Mossberg is a pretty popular name for that type of thing. I only own shotguns for sporting clay use, so I can't speak to which models might be best for home defense.

For what they are, they run well, easy to fix and mod, and they can be found locally here for 200-300 all day.The China Clay of shotguns...

Yeah. Mossberg 590s are good too, but I prefer the 870. If ya want a good semi auto, a older xtrema or versa max for 700-800 will do the job.I agree with this if you’re just looking for an inexpensive reliable banger. They’re easy to find.

Yup. I'd say it's about the best value you can find for a clay gun, and can take a drop or two and survive in the field.I’m not knocking it at all, I own one, it’s an early 60’s model I got from my father. I was just saying that it’s better than a single shot and better than any other $200 pump, but there are flashier and costlier ones out there.
I also own an 1100, but for clays and trap I prefer the 870.
Nice. Our group of friends would kill all the zombies lol!
