Guns you own (5 Viewers)

I got a 22 rifle for Christmas, my first gun. I made it 50 years without ever firing a gun. Don’t plan to start. But if the damn skunks don’t move out from under my porch, I might change my attitude towards shooting.

edit: oh! And the marmots. Those damn things! I might have to shoot :(

I've had to defend my home from two opossums and a rabid or near dead raccoon. I tried several times and they would not leave. I used .22 shorts in my old bolt action rifle I've had forever.

Man, between the opossums and the rabid/dying raccoon, plus the B&E critters that made a nest in your wall, your area is getting rough. Might be time to think about moving...

I'm planning on doing a clay day in May.

Was thinking we can do sporting clays down the road from my house and then head back to my place for dinner followed by poker. I am sure we have enough interest in our group to make it happen.

Hell I have two ranges within two miles from me.

Is the shooting part open to others? My boys would likely be interested, as may my brother in law. But none of them will play poker...

Edit: Please not the Saturday before Mother's Day... I have given my wife enough reason to divorce me... Also,what other range besides Island Lake?

In I have a couple shotguns anyone is welcome to use, 12 and 20 guage.
 
Wish I lived closer to the cool kids club. What could be better than poker AND shooting

For sure! Open to anyone joining the shoot. For the sporting clays we would split into teams of four.

I may have to borrow a gun from one of ya as I am pretty sure I only have single shots left.

I think Fran and Boother will both be in as well. I wonder if Andy shoots.... Could get scary lol.
