My BIL might be interested, and maybe even his buddy (tho he usually works on Saturdays). Also, if you're cool with minors, I may bring my 17 and 15 year old sons... Maybe my 13 year old. And tell my BIL to bring my 16 year old nephew. All the minors are responsible handling weapons. Island Lake is cool about minors too... All of them have shot there in the past.

I gotta see if I have enough eyes and ears for all of them...

As long as I am not responsible for the minors it doesn't matter to me. Keep in mind we will likely be shooting in groups of four.
 
The older three (my two and my nephew) I would have no issue with them shooting with others. The youngest, I'd like to keep a closer eye on (so if I could be in his group, or near him while hes up to shoot). Also, may borrow someone's 20 ga for him...
 
For duty I have a Springfield XDm 40 Cal soon to replace TRP 1911 10mm..for carry a Ruger CLP
Also have s few others mostly old guns in a safe. But pictured an all stainless steel Just Right Carbine 45 Cal backpack rifle & a mossberg 500 chainsaw (a.k.a.) zombie killer...lol

My EDC forever was a Springfield 1911 Commander. 6+1 and stainless steel.

I picked up an XDm in 9mm. Easy to shoot, polymer (way lighter) and 19+1. Needless to say, I have a new EDC.

And I just reminded myself that I need to renew my CPL online before April...

that’s a beauty.

I had the very unique experience a coupe years ago of attending the 100 anniversary of Aberdine Proving Grounds. They had hundreds of guns to hold which was awesome and lots of demos of artillary, tanks, etc. my favorite section was a grenade throwing station for kids. Somethings about watching six year olds chuck fake grenades at a bunker with the help of soldiers warmed my heart. Here are some fun pics and videos.

That's pretty cool!

I went through OCS at Aberdeen for six months in 1966, but back then, all our weapons and explosives work was done at Edgewood Arsenal.

Man, does it ever get cold in the winter out on and around Chesapeake Bay!
 
Finally, people are back to showing photos of their roscos. Lots of nice gear out there but that MP-40 is hard to beat.
 
Glad I can’t go down this rabbit hole. NYC gun laws are supper strict. :(

It's ever so slightly thinner, but the grooves give you good purchase. I like the feel better than the coco lobo checkered grips I had.

If ya want something different, I adore the ALG rails. Easy to install, don't require any real tools, and love the grip of a round foreend to latch onto....

I will say, some people don't care for the styling...
