Soooooo I don't know a whole lot regarding firearms. I know nothing is probably a more apt description. I won't be in the market for one until about a month or two for now, but it doesn't hurt to start looking.
Anybody have an idea where the best places would be to look for something akin to this (though obviously not as ornate)?
Looking for a blunderbuss, or/and a duval model flintlock pistol? Kinda looking for 18th century stuff, although it could be later. If this type of gear is extraordinarily expensive, is there someone out there that does pretty awesome work with models/fakes?

Well nuts. So I take it these are very peculiar pieces and won't make an appearance at state gun shows and such? Figured there'd be some floating around, but I guess 150+ year old guns wouldn't be common.

I’m sure they are around. But since they aren’t classified as true firearms that are regulated my the ATF and all the laws like back ground checks and licensed dealers you are more likely to find them in antique stores and pawn shops that may deal with them than an actual gun store.

So, I would not be standing in front of the firing line to capture that video... At first, I thought it was a selfie stick, but I don't think so after watching the video again...
She's using two trigger fingers... I'm sure dad taught her well, but FFS, accidents happen... Why make a fatal accident possible?

Yeah I have a hard time just tossing my mags in the sand when I'm practicing at the range. If my kid threw my gun....
I remember years ago going to the local public gun range, a dad brought his daughter about the same age as the girl in this video, he handed her a full auto MP5 and she emptied the mag while giggling 4 feet to my left... I backed away from the firing line in a heartbeat until dad took the gun back. Definitely did not feel safe. Watching the muzzle rise uncontrollably while dad stood back... A few years later a young girl killed an instructor with an Uzi the same way and it reminded me of that day.
I don't like public ranges at all.

The indoor ranges around here are monitored by CCTV. There is an outdoor range with very good Range Masters. I feel most comfortable shooting there.
i do not own any guns, at least that is my stance on a public forum in this new political climate.......
neither do any of us... we‘re just day dreaming, snagging stock photos from the internet, pretending we own them, to be cool, ya know...

No, it's not mine but my son just purchased this .45 Springfield 1911.
Had a chance to shoot one last week. It was easy, smooth and really accurate with a 5" stainless match barrel. Great value at just under $1,000

Suppressor on the way and subsonic ammunition so I am not worried about it 
It is fully collapsed as well. It extends to about 24/25 ish inches in total.

Any Ruger 10/22 fans here?
I needed something cheap to shoot so I picked one up this afternoon... going to drop the BX Trigger and a decent scope on it to start. The charging handle, mag release and BHO leave something to be desired, but I'm leaving them alone for now.
What other upgrades should I look at to make this 'tacticool'? I like the idea of a folding stock - and I have no plans for a suppressor (subsonic ammo should be good enough).

Is that the 510c? I just put the same sight on my CZ Scorpion but haven't made it to the range to zero yet. So far I'm digging it. It's also my first green reticle, all my others are red.

instead of a aftermarket folding stock I’d highly recommend the takedown model. Very small and so quick and easy to assemble or takedown. Literally pull a lever, twist and pull.
It comes with a nice carry bag and a rail already for a scope or red dot.

I appreciate the suggestion however I already purchased my rifle. Mine has the same rail - although it's a weaver rail so I'm not sure how useful it's going to be.
