What is the base color of the $5? Fucsia?
It's not fuscia.

I tired to match the color to my sample set as best I could. The blue spot was easy to match.

It looks like it could be light violet or rubine red.

But under UV, the base color of the 5 actually glows blue!
The only other red color that did that in my sample set was rose, but rose is not a match in normal light.

Are all the T5s in the "cash" set really in as good a condition as they look to be in the photos?
In my lead set, the 5s are generally in good condition. The 1s, too. Though, the hot stamps on the 5s seem the weakest. The clay could be pristine, but some.of the hots stamps are just wearing away usually fast. The 500s and the 1000s seem to had seen more use.

I think someone somewhere said they were ”melon”.

Isn’t Light Violet a relatively new color? Would it have been available at the time these were produced?

I wouldn’t rule out Rose given the UV test. There could be some variation in batches. Also oils might have darkened the Harrahs.

For a normal cash set, $5s are often in the worst condition, but I'm thinking maybe most of the tournaments these were used in must have started with T25, thus the T5s did not get much use. Only thing is, why do the T1s look worse than the T5s?
Based on the photos provided it appears to me that each denomination of the Harrah’s Casino chips is basically in the same or at the very least similar condition as the corresponding chip in the Harrah’s set, and I’d say that in the Harrah’s set the chips are basically in the same condition as each other except the T500s are in a little better condition (but the stack heights still match). If a photo helps:

I would have to agree.

Rose seems like the closest match based on normal and UV colors.

@BEANO52 , my question was related to the apparent inability to add individual (“unleaded”) $25s to the current set options being offered.

Looks like you can order up to 200 more of the $5s, $500s etc., but not the $25s.

This would make it difficult for me to assemble a playable set except through classified haggling.

For a 2/5 game I’d need to buy the base cash set, then try to buy another rack or two of $25s and 40 more $100s from members.

My guess is you’d probably have to be willing to mix some Harrah‘s T25s and T100s with your Harrah’s Casino base set since people are more likely to have extra Harrah’s T25s and T100s in their Harrah’s set than people are to have extra Harrah’s Casino T25s and T100s in their Harrah’s Casino set. And by people I mean me lol.

The T5 chips are all basically new. The T1 are also all mostly new. Some are a little dirty which really shows up in the pictures, but in excellent condition

Thanks! Jim
I like the hotstamp cash set a lot.
Does anybody know the base color of the 1?
Got the Harrah‘s a 50ct chip?

I would have to agree.

Rose seems like the closest match based on normal and UV colors.
At some point Paulson reformulated the Rose color. I’m not exactly sure when that change was made. I have a rack of the “old” Rose in my Grand Casino Biloxi set. One night I was at a local chipper’s house and we were trying to match the color of the T5 to his Paulson color sample set, and nothing was a good match. That’s when he remembered his old color samples. Pulled out the old Rose, and it was a perfect match. Here’s a pic I took of the two side by side yesterday. Again, the Biloxi T5 is known to be old Rose. I’m pretty sure the Harrah’s T5 base is also the old Rose.

Sorry, I'm new to TCR sales. How does placing an order work? Is there a website or is it don't through PCF? Also, is there available quantity information?

what do the T25k look like? anyone have pics?

I need help with the 25s

What are the colors.
Please consider the UV photo as well.

It looks like lime green with Hawaiian flower, until the UV photo.

Again, the spots fluoresce as blue, and the only pink color in my sample set to do that is rose. But my rose sample is not the spot color on these chips.

Then there are the 500 "pink" spots. Again, I can't nail it down. Any help would be appreciated.
