All I’m saying is that the “she’s dumb and got lucky” argument makes no sense given her playing history and net winnings, and only serves to explain this one hand inside a vaccuum.

As for whether she’s a cheating crusher or a bad player making bad decisions… how about neither? She could be a total shill who merely acts based on BTO input.
Right, none of us here have ever made a horrifically bad call with action left and gotten lucky.

Let’s say someone gave her perfect info - there was a turn card still to come and she was underdog. So, she cheated to get it in with the worst of it? That makes less sense than just a dumb play and panic afterwards.

"She's dumb and got lucky" is intentionally oversimplifying the anti-cheating argument in an attempt to make it looks stupid.

She might be a decent player in other games, I don't know. But whether she was cheating or playing honestly, the way that J4 hand went down was absolutely horrible - she did everything wrong. It should be obvious that if she were cheating, she's really, REALLY bad at it.

And one of the reasons this is a big story is precisely because she got lucky. Lucky that Garrett was at the absolute bottom of his range, and lucky that both boards ran out in her favor. If Garrett chops or wins, she gets 15 minutes of "what an idiot" internet fame and the world moves on.

LOL. Yeah, that's absolutely the simplest and most plausible explanation given what we know. At this point you're just trolling.

I believe she had to call 109K to win 161K so she's getting 1.48 (rounded up) to 1 on a call. That means she needs roughly 40% equity to be break-even on the call. With 47% equity she's making money long-term.

IF someone is signaling her that's on the inside and can see the equities they can have her make a call that isn't really "getting it in with the worst of it" as you describe, but is actually a profitable call given the pot odds.

I really lean towards them having access to the runouts though, which would make calls like these that much easier. There's a HUGE incentive to cheat in high stakes games like these because of the amount of money involved and the history in the poker community of no real consequences for people who've been caught cheating (or suspected highly of cheating). It can be very difficult to prove, and oftentimes they are essentially freerolling. They either get away with it, or get caught but still get away with it.

If she’s getting simple “good / not good” notifications, she’s only acting on the most basic info.

The chair vibrating take is hilarious.
That vibrator has to be strong to shake a chair like that.

Now that I think about it when I shake my feet my chair moves like that

Wait.... does me and my office colleagues use a vibrator?!

Edit: People are reaching haaaard

Haha!

Yep!

How the hell would they even get that past producers? Dumb.

Garrett posted on Twitter that she had some kind of pocket device? *shrug*

Yeah but the part you’re missing is that you are absolutely outing yourself of you’re cheating this way. Also, this isn’t a home game. It’s a casino. Cheating here has immediate and significant legal consequences, above and beyond being eviscerated in the poker community.

If she cheated, she is the worst cheater ever. Wrong venue, wrong hand, wrong street (why not wait till the river when J high wouldn’t be completely crazy on a double paired board and beats all pocket pairs lower than 9?). Wrong everything.

Why Berkey’s commentary is tilting me:

A vibrating device strong enough to move her body like that would be too noisy. Think your phone vibrating or video game control. With vibration comes noises.

I guess a tens device could be activated wirelessly and do the trick though.

Completely fucking irresponsible. I lost all respect for Garrett Anderson when he doubled down on his unsubstantiated bullshit.

I don’t give a baker’s fuck. I’m here for the drama. :)

EDIT: And I say that with the complete understanding that he’s probably going to get sued for the shit he’s been posting.

I think there is only two sides who are wrong. People who claims what happened is 100% faul play and people who claims that is 100% a legit play. Everything between has a logic and reasoning behind.

That's fair. I'm 90% she cheated, but I can't dismiss the probability of it being a legit tard moment

Yeah, but what do you think about Garrett Adelstein? :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:

But seriously, this. Going public with these comments and zero evidence is ridiculously irresponsible.

I was initially inclined to go with the latter but the amount in the pot just spotlights it being a highly questionable call. It’s really weird how she tried to say all she had was a bluff catcher when it didn’t even resemble one lol None of any it makes sense. Say Garrett doesn’t shove like that when he really has a set or already hit his straight, you figure there might be the chance that he holds a mediocre pair and, in her eyes, has sensed that he’s ahead without any regard for the board. Even then, if she’s even remotely close to dissecting it that way, she still can’t make that call.

You have to sit there and wonder, WHAT THE FUCK IS J4o beating in that spot? You have a blocker? Now she’s out there on social media saying she wants to go heads up with the guy as a publicity stunt. Does she wanna be homeless? Lol

There should be legal ramifications for accusing someone of cheating without any proof.

I used to like Doug Polk too. Till he showed the lame video of the chair shaking.
Then selectively showing her say ‘no not 3s’ so that means she lied ??
But NOT showing the video where she says after he shoved ‘ can you beat 3s’

Any of her misspeak quotes can be explained.
Whether or not she meant them

Maybe when she was asked about the 3s and she said no. She might have thought they were asking if she had pocket 3s.

When she said she had the Jc, maybe that was the extra push to call with her misread 3s

Who knows.

Fucking kangaroo court.

Literally ‘split down the middle ‘ with the pros saying she cheated or didn’t.

Fuck all them too. Accuse without proof? Disgusting
They should be ashamed

Hey he can’t have QJ of clubs
Snap call
I think she just lost her mind and got pissed call

Regardless of the outcome of the hand, it’s clear that is a classless human that lacks etiquette. Other players would have handled that way more professionally than that cake face.

As for the hand, won it fair and square. That part is done and should have be squashed shortly after it was over.

She’s a hideous human that thinks flashing your tits and wearing colored shades at a poker table provides you with some sort of appeal. Looks like a fuckin clown and talks like one. Hustler needs to swap her out with someone else lol
