Jim just needs to start auctioning off chips by the rack. It'll get rid of all these "I HAD to buy 2000 chips so I could get my barrel of 25K's. I don't need or want the rest so I have to unload them... but what am I supposed to do... just give them away? How is that fair to everyone? The only fair thing to do for the community is to auction them off."
I think Jim just needs to roll with a Silent Auction. Submit your offers with your best price over a 24hr period. That way those that think chips are worth $1000 per rack can get as many as they want with a Thank You, and good luck trying to flip them.
Then those that want to pay $75 a rack can throw their hat in the ring and if it wasn't enough, they have no one to blame but themselves.
Jim wouldn't have to be transparent to who he sells to at what price, and there would be very little reason for people to bitch about anything. They will find something, but they're just trolls looking to troll.
Also, Jim isn't doing this for the community any more than a drug dealer is doing it to help addicts find the stuff they need. This is a straight up business. He isn't maximizing profits, but this is a lucrative side hustle so he can afford to sacrifice capital on the sales end in exchange for ease and efficiency of ordering/distribution.
The idea that acquiring chips anywhere is somehow related to "community" is Laugh Out Loud fucking ridiculous. It is, and has been, cut-throat for quite some time now. If people are getting hooked up with less than "Market Prices" that isn't "community", that is friendship.

Jim is a business man. Saying this is equivalent to me saying "Jim has used this hobby to make himself rich". Neither of us really know what we are talking about, but it doesn't make either of us wrong. His business, so far, is the only one to repeatedly acquire closed casino chips.
That's funny shit. I was more looking for a solution to make these sales easier on the pokerchipforum, not Jim. Not sure his meme is going to silence much bitching. It's also worth a note that he is referring to this as his job. I find it hilarious that people see this as Jim doing us a favor. We can't wait to literally throw our money at him.
FWIW, I appreciate the service Jim provides, but I appreciate it and see it for what it is, a business taking advantage of monopoly. Given the opportunity I would too.

@CraigT78 6.5 acres all to ourselves and I prefer this veiw.. the river is about 3/8 of a mile back and flows through our property, we have been busting our asses for years now cleaning the place up
May only be 2400 Sq ft of home, but for some it's the freedom and space we need more than huge houses. BTW ole Zillow says $625k for our slice of heaven... I wouldn't sell for double that!
