I'm a construction worker, not a lawyer or Doctor... we have all walks of life in this amazing hobby. Them boots ain't shinny either, Georgia Loggers with the CC7 inserts baby.

@CraigT78 6.5 acres all to ourselves and I prefer this veiw.. the river is about 3/8 of a mile back and flows through our property, we have been busting our asses for years now cleaning the place up

May only be 2400 Sq ft of home, but for some it's the freedom and space we need more than huge houses. BTW ole Zillow says $625k for our slice of heaven... I wouldn't sell for double that!

FYP bro, it was set up for a perfect rhyme and you killed it...

Old neighbor lady is getting upset about the mail, she must be expecting chips too, it's 1/4 mile to the mail boxes and she has drove up there twice already.

** update**
I go in to do my business and wouldn't you know... that whole "watch pot never boils thing is absolutely correct!"

Now lord give me the patience to wait for my beautiful better half to make it home! It is only fair that I wait.
Btw, a 2400 sf house is “not” small, especially for just 2 people. 6.5 acres is a really nice piece of land that provides a limitless amount of options. A beautiful wooded view with a running river near by. Damn! Very nice….

I don't think I can drive there in time.....

Damn, I was hoping a package for you arrived from me today and I could act like it was magic... But alas, maybe tomorrow.....

Actually, it's not a package, but in a note/envelope. Might be in a mailbox. Hahaha

Hopefully that old lady didn't figure out what those two boxes are worth... and it's OK, I can do this @Josh Kifer style (aka Mr. Eastwood)

Any minute now she should be along. Guess I could pluck those weeds in the walkway while I wait but 93 degrees... maybe later! Lol
Nice view Ben.
I imagine this is the view facing the porch.

Under £600k for 6.5 acres and 2400 sq ft, I need to move to Maryland! You're a lucky boy!

Can't wait for the big reveal!

I’m a relative newbie when it comes to these sales, but from what I’ve seen, there are a few things that are at play.

1.) Jim has started sales with playable sets before, and those sold out pretty quickly as well. I would imagine stock sets would also be easier for him to set up for shipping too. Either way, it probably did give more people a bite at the apple, so I’m sure there’s a reason he didn’t do that again this time. (See #2)

2.) I don’t think there are many sets out there with primary and secondary options for every single chip. I wouldn’t be surprised if a full 60-70 percent of the comments on the initial thread were about which lineup was best or why one chip was better than the other. It seems like trying to come up with the “ideal” lineup, let alone size set, would be an impossible task.

3.) Having flipped things for a living, selling out is the absolute best possible scenario. Jim set his prices at a point where he would be happy with his margins, but also low enough to not have stock hanging around that he has to try and find a home for so he has room for the next oil drums.

Seeing the frenzy, I wouldn’t be surprised if he might rethink his prices on the next bear claw he gets his hands on. On the flip side, Jim also seems like a stand up dude that just wants to turn an honest buck. Let the market figure out what it is on its own. But from a wholesalers standpoint, I gotta thinks he’s the happiest of campers right now, and might even get the last barrels of chips to the PCFers sooner than planned. Because why wait? The feeding frenzy hasn’t even begun yet and everyone is still hungry for more!

Anyhow, just my two cents, which may not even be worth that. I’m happy I decided to stay on the sidelines until the second hour. I got my (apparently inferior) $1 primaries and I’ll take that as my first TCR sale win!
Let’s be honest he can be the best dude out in world but 99% of the reason he’s doing this is because of the profit!! Guarantee the 5ks up chips probably paid for the entire purchase! I’m mean it’s either take what Jim gives casinos or pay the wood chipper to destroy them! He’s not selling chips at $1.50 if he’s paying $1.25. My guess he’s getting them for .25 to .50cents each all In total. You think casinos are really making him pay 7.99 for 5k chips lol

What I'm really worried about is this: from what I've seen over my months here in the forum, Jim is the only source of "new" Paulson/GPI chips. (New to the home market).

And it scares me that if Jim can't do what he do, we'll never seen any new Paulsons ever again.

I hope Jim is training a chip Padawan.

unfortunately these are so ineslatic that there is very very little risk in flipping them.

Jim clearly gives away huge amounts of his potential profit to avoid inventory loss and community politics as heavily as he does but maybe there are factors we can’t account for. I have no idea what capital he has to put out upfront for the chips.

His model isn’t a good one for maximizing profits, it’s good for clearing inventory and minimizing the period during which he’s dealing with logistics.

The market place is going to see prices skyrocket because it’s a much more precise environment to eek out prices from individual buyers when the sellers can gauge demand and wallet size. Jim doesn’t want to get into messaging individuals and haggling but if these were sold like the RPCs, he and a bunch of others could have made way way more money.

Not suggesting he should do this or that it’s good for the community by any means. But when the demand is so high the prices are going to skyrocket without artificial limits Like what Jim imposes on himself
Who’s to say Jim doesn’t do this. We have no Clue. You can say the golden ticket got 2000 chip max but there is never anyway to know for sure unless he Post receipts. Easy to make the buyer sign a nda also for off site purchase. I’d be shocked if somebody didn’t get frist crack at these before us. There’s some real deep pockets out there that be willing to make it worth his while.

Nope but if casinos find out what he sells these for. They will start a eBay sellers page hahah

Well... those Harrahs look much better than the Lady Luck naked woman blue chips from Cali even though those are also perfectly acceptable here. But who doesn’t love an original hot stamp quarter man! Absolutely beautiful! Plus if that green matches the base of the Pri $25 then ohh man you really have something there Eric!
