You're the best!

158 packages dropped off today. Only 40 more to go!

Anyone else doing the rough math?

At the basic level, for anyone saying that it seems like more people lost out than actually got chips, you might be right: only 198 boxes going out means well fewer than 200 people were able to buy.

And how many chips per box? 1,000, tops? So, fewer than 200,000 chips, if so. For context, the final numbers posted in the HSI thread were roughly 500,000.

max per box would be 700-800 chips. So anything above that would have been split across 2 boxes. 2000 chip orders were split across three boxes. If i had to guess it would have been around 100 people that got orders through in this sale and put the total chips somewhere around 120K.

That was trip #2. So 158x2 plus 40 in addition to golden ticket purchases.

Plus 2 more barrels of the table chips.

That’s 356 boxes and if we assume that each order took 1 box on average then that’s the ammount of purchasers. I think this makes more sense because at the time of the sale there were ~400 people viewing the thread. Just some speculation though.

158 was for the day. Having a quick look at the pic I cant see 158 boxes fitting into the back of that truck.

we can guesstimate all we want. the true totals would be revealed eventually.

Maybe @TheChipRoom can have a guessing competition and give the winner a golden ticket?

Like many others…the 1s and 5s I was interested in sold out. Looking for secondary 1s and primary 5s

I got mine yesterday. I'm really unhappy with the primary fives. All four racks are heavily used. I also got secondary ones, primary 25's, primary 100's and primary 500's. I love everything else.

I'm going to try and not make any impulse decisions. This isn't a post looking to sell btw. Once I recover from poker last night I'll post some pictures.

Interesting, I got chips that had seen play, but I wouldn’t call the heavily used. My set has mint $1’s, VGC $25’s, and mint $100’s. I feel like my $5’s matched the condition well enough that it works even though they’re a little broken in. I’d be interested to see what yours looked like because I wouldn’t call mine heavily used, but the condition doesn’t match the chips other have received or the pictures Jim put in the original sale. Here’s some pictures so you guys can see it for yourself.

I assume you’ve got worse than this @detroitdad. Also curious how many GO’s you get because I got a ton maybe 33% and I wonder if it’s because these chips saw play so more got mixed in. Either way I’m happy with the chips I just wish I had more minty ones.

Mine are probably similar to this. I had a ton of GO chips.

Mine looked like this as well. Almost 30% GO chips which sucks because I was planning on relabeling these. They clean up pretty well with a warm water and Dawn bath and a magic eraser .
