Would be more work for Jim but once an order can't be filled he could reach out to the buyer and let them decide if/how to adjust based on remaining quantities. Makes the process kinda slow but I'd prefer it.

That said, I appreciate how this sale was handled, especially the prices.

Darn in-laws... I missed the sale.
If anyone wants to sell a sample set to me, hit me up please. Pretty please

One thing everyone is forgetting is that Jim obviously has an interest is selling quickly. Some suggestions are that he invested enough cash to buy a house just the get these chips. I doubt he's interested in engaging in a process that takes months when he can recoup his investment in a weekend.

It's absolutely a fair a valid point. As potential buyers, I suspect that we're all just slightly biased in wanting a system that works in our favour. ;)

I think you'd truly sell out with an add on sale.

Does that mean add on sale is only for those who purchased in this early sale? And if so, does that count for those of us who only order barrels due to demons being sold out?
Anyone is welcome. I talked with Tommy and we will be limiting the next sale to PCF members only, no visitors

Jim

From a businessman perspective why limit your prospects for sales? And I didn’t get jack today but if I was the seller I don’t think I’d want to limit my chance to sell out.
If he's gonna sellout anyway (which seems obvious), why not spread the wealth around?

Plus, to get retail prices, you have to sell at retail quantities.

Done!

@TheChipRoom Jim, I wanted to say thank you for the opportunity. Sometimes in order to try to please everyone it might seem that you've managed to please no one. This is not the case for me and almost all of our compatriots here, I'm sure. Keep doing things in the very best way you can, you've got our support.

Not only that but I got an email about the upcoming sale. I assume this was sent to all registered forum members and not just active ones who would have seen the sale organically and were posting in the threads.

I don't fault Jim or Tommy for advertising of course, but it would have been cool if the pre-sale was exclusive to active and aware PCF members.

Congrats to those who picked up sets and thanks again to @TheChipRoom for the awesome sale!

I actually joined this site to get this set. I only got interested in non-dice set last weekend. I appreciate the chance to get in on this.

My suggestion was to restrict only the pre-sale to active (perhaps longstanding, i.e. registered/posted prior to the sale details). Given the frenzy that occurs on every TCR sale, it seems unlikely such a restriction would really impact the overall sale numbers.

Every sale, about 5-10 people attempt to give advice and redo the process. I never really get it, he wants quick money, in and out. We always have a list of people complaining or with "ideas". I'm just thankful he gives us this chance, fair prices, and quality shipping. Jim's a class act....

PCF vendor = PCF member sale only in the PCF forum, that makes sense to me. At first I didn't care who was invited, then I thought about that.

Hoping for a second shot next week as I didn’t get a single chip I wanted...
