How can you determine how many are left of each denomination?
Use the cart function to see what numbers get you to SOLD OUT...
and on that point, in case it hasn't been mentioned or people aren't aware, SOLD OUT.. does not necessarily mean SOLD OUT.
It means the amount you are requesting in your order can not be fulfilled with the quantities remaining.

ex, you try to purchase 400 x $100 chips, but only 380 are left in inventory.
You will receive a SOLD OUT message for the $100 chips. Adjust to 380 or lower and voilà, you just bought some chips ;)

Just toying with some ideas..

This was my plan except I was going to use the 5k as a $20

Obviously wasn't going to use the MT labels but I was being lazy with the mock-up

The black quarter next to the white $1 is so sexy good yum!

Well, then how about a blanket max 30% of total chip order per denoms, then? It would allow those that start from nothing to build a playable set, allow some to pick and choose small quantities to finish off some denoms, and prevent one person from doing a single order for all of one denim only like the quarters, snappers, primary 500's or what have you. Am I being completely off-base here?

I like the lineup. The five almost seems to busy though. Too much white spreading on the first three denoms. Now saying that. I would take that set in a heartbeat!!!

You’re just trying to solve a problem that probably doesn’t exist. Jim will have a system, and it will work. It’s not going to allow for someone to buy up all the rare chips. Not everyone will be happy about the limitations, but it’s impossible to please everyone.

Not off-base perhaps, but totally inappropriate imo. Pretty much the same as somebody telling you publicly how to run YOUR chip business.

If you have a suggestion for Jim on how he should conduct or improve his business, I urge you to send it to him privately (via email or pm). Publicly posting it in a vendor's paid forum (in a sales thread, no less) is very bad form imo.

Interesting you should say that, since it was that redbird that made me want a set. My objective plan was to use it either as a $5 cash game chip, or a T5 tournament chip. Sadly, the fracs were gone, killing the cash set, and the Primary 500s were gone killing the tournament set.

I love the five dollar chip. Just not in that specific lineup.

I ordered sample sets, and only sample sets, using the sample set link during yesterday's early sale.

Saw that there were still 25's available this morning so ordered some of those. Assumed that was ok but guessing that broke the combined orders rule?

Oh well, guess I will wait and see if some are available in next Sundays sale.

It turns out my sample set order was only canceled so it could be combined with the order I slipped in this morning.

So while I would have gladly paid separate shipping on each order, without me saying anything, it was recognized that I had placed a second order and they were combined and I was given a refund on shipping.

This is unbelievable customer service. All hail the Chip Room!

That is pretty standard Chiproom customer service. Dude knows what he is doing!

Should we start a group buy for quarter labels from @Gear? We could all save a bit on shipping by having them shipped to one American address then reshipped.

I ordered a rack of Primary 25's today. Hoping I can add a few 1's and 5's at a later date. If not, I'll just move the 25's
I like the primary much better than the secondary, so I was at least happy there were still some available.

yeah, I had a couple of different orders, but didn't want to say anything to Jim as I thought I would offend him, lol

me: "Hey Jim, just wanted to make sure you combine shipping on my orders"
Jim: "you know I'm a freakin pro right?"

I’m interested. I sent him a PM earlier but I’m sure his inbox is literally on fire.

I'm another member that just wanted to chime in - positively. Apart from the F5 anxiety leading up to 2:00pm EST, I had a great experience with the sale. Fortunately, I was able to pick up the chip breakdown I had hoped for. (Granted, this wasn't my first ChipRoom sale, so I was prepared to maneuver through the page-loading-dance between the PCF site and Paypal.)

Thanks, @TheChipRoom, for the opportunity to pick up some beautiful minty Paulsons!

I'm not sure there would be much of a savings shipping and then re-shipping everything. Now if you have other chippers local to you, that would be worth doing... but if 2 or more chippers got what they wanted and were local to each other, I need to know about it. I need to move there for their improved internet connections.

I have 1000 Mbps Fiber at the house.

Also interested for same (.25's and $20's)
Those secondary $100's should make some nice $20's without the high price tag of the oversized chips.

more important than your local bandwidth availability is your route to the servers involved

- I should add, thankfully your connection and clicking skills got the order through
