You better have a contingency plan.
Interesting..... I think the $5 is the best chip in the set, after the primary $500.
re: the chip lineup... the 5 may be the best looking 5 that I've ever come across.
I may be wrong, but that seems like a pretty rare spot pattern for a 5, more befitting a 100 or larger demon.
absolutely love it.
As BG said above, there are only a few chips in this lineup that aren't spectacular.
Thanks again Jim!!!
You better have a contingency plan.
What will happen is you will try to put chips in your paypal cart and it will tell you that your quantity is not available. So while you contemplate what else to do, everything else you want is also running out. So you have to know what you are going to add differently if things run out on you. The faster you can click it, the better. That's discouraging. I really hope it doesn't come down to that!
@TheChipRoom, I'd like to try my hand at a small order of these chips, but I might have missed a clarification. Is it okay to mix the primary and secondary chips of denoms $25 through $5000 as long as the total of each denom is within the % limit? For example, if I made a 400 chips order, I could order up to 20x 5000 (5% of total), but I'd like to split it as 10x primary and 10x secondary. Is this allowed?
Yes that is allowedsoftchewy said:
@TheChipRoom - Jim, to clarify, do we need to choose only pri or secondary or can we mix to hit the percentage...
ex. - if I were to order 2000 chips could 50 be primary $5k and 50 be secondary $5k? as long as the total is 5% or less of the denomination?

Will I at least know which chips are the problem or will it be like a price is right game and you have to try and figure out which chip is the problem? What will happen is you will try to put chips in your paypal cart and it will tell you that your quantity is not available. Out of curiosity, what kind of timeline are we realistically looking at here before certain denoms are completely sold out?
My guess is under 5 minutes for the really popular and low-quantity chips. I will not publicly guess which those will be.Out of curiosity, what kind of timeline are we realistically looking at here before certain denoms are completely sold out?

Just noticed it now, but can someone explain what those dots on the 25 through 5000 denominations are? Cheers!I forgot the snappers the first time.

think you got the $500s switchedPictures, Grand Opening chips and Sample sets have been added. The Grand Opening and sample set chips may bee added above the 2000 chips limit. This is very confusing with the grand opening chips. I tried to explain it as best I could, but if you have any questions, please let me know before the sale so there is no confusion.
Thanks, Jim
To confirm, the 8V $500 chip is PRIMARY or SECONDARY? In your original photos, the 8V $500 was listed as primary, but in the listing photos it's listed as secondary, but in the sample set photos, it's amongst the primary denoms. For those of you who have never experienced a Chip Room sale, there are a few rules. We try to do things so people can acquire a complete set at good prices. The limits are to prevent people from purchasing large quantities of single denominations that prevent others from completing their sets. We also have to factor in our quantities into the calculations.
We will post a time and date for the sale. At that time, the shopping cart will appear after you refresh your screen. Each chip will be listed individually and you have to load each denomination and quantity into your cart before you check out. Sometimes chips can sell out very quickly, so don't delay.

**These chips can be added above the 2000 chip limits. These chips can purchased alone or as part of a set. This is a little confusing, but you can either choose to have them count toward your percentage or not. VERY IMPORTANT: The Maximum the $5 chips can count is towards 25% of your order and the maximum the $25 chips can count is 35% of your order. What I trying to say, if you try and use this as a loophole or to try and "game the system", I will be very disappointed and will refund your order. If you are unsure, please send me your scenario before the sale.

The limits may be confusing, because we have never had primaries and secondaries that are both new. The limits listed above are whether you choose primary or secondary, not both. (Example: if you order 2000 chips, you can either order 1 rack of primary or 1 rack of secondary $5000 chips, not both)
Rules
1) Primary and Secnodary chips are limited to 2000 chips per household (grand opening and sample sets can be added above 2000)
2) All orders MUST comply to the denomination percentage limits or they will be cancelled and refunded (no exceptions)
- No multiple orders to hit your percentages. Each order must comply to the percentages or it will be cancelled and refunded
- After the first hour, all limits on percentages will be removed and you can purchase up to 1000 additional chips with no limits.
Thanks! Jim
So after an hour, the limits are removed.
If I only want 200 x $1 chips, then that’s fine, even if I don’t partake in the ‘main sale’
Granted there are any chips left...
