There's definitely an out-of-context joke here.....C-U-M-I-N...
Those look great - recipe ?
Low carb tortillas are one of the few "not terrible" substitutes. They're even better as sandwich wraps than tortillas, I think.
OMG! That is great, great progress. So glad to hear! ...we are with you brother, keep it up!Big milestone today.

This is the brand I like best. They taste pretty good, and other LC tortillas often have more calories than they should based on reported carbs. It makes me wonder if those brands are fudging the label to look lower carb then they are.
What's your typical daily intake/meal plan look like? are you hungry? are your cravings gone?Big milestone today.

Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it.What's your typical daily intake/meal plan look like? are you hungry? are your cravings gone?

I typically eat between 800-1200 calories/day, with a max net carb intake of 10. I don't track when I'm in ketosis or anything like that. I'm never hungry, and if I eat more than 1200 calories, I feel like I ate 5000
I eat Atkins bars and supplement with lean meats, cheeses, etc. I know it's all shit ingredients, but it's better than being 400+ pounds. I eat the same general stuff every day, but since I've deprioritized food in my life, it doesn't really bother me. I eat minimal veggies because I'm an adult picky eater, but I am slowly trying to make strides on that front. If I want to go out to eat and have a 50 carb meal, I do it, then lose the gained weight the following day. I exercise minimally, but walk as much as I can and have more energy now.
This will all change as I get closer to a normal weight, as more exercising and a better diet will become more essential. For now, just trying to get my fat ass out of the super morbidly obese range.
Thanks so much and good luck to you! Sounds like you are doing the right things.Whatever you are doing is working, every time I see your Calorie range it shocks the hell out of me. I've lost 80lbs in 9 months eating 2000-2400 calories a day and started at less weight than you, it was and still is hard sometimes when I am in a major calorie deficit. 800 is what I aim for per meal (2 meals a day plus 1 snack in between and 18 hours of fasting every day). I literally can't imagine eating 800-1200 calories for a whole day!
Your progress is truly amazing and I don't mean this as a buzz kill at all, but I would prepare yourself mentally for your metabolism to adjust, our bodies are fascinating and when you are in a mega calorie deficit your metabolism adjusts to whatever it is used to getting. My only concern would be your metabolism getting used to that low of calories and then not having any way to go lower.
Whenever I have a super deficit I feel sluggish and lose less weight, so everyone is different, for me it takes small adjustments and now having to add exercise eventually.
Have you tried fasting at all? It works wonders with keto. Basically keto/atkins teaches your body to burn fat as fuel and when you are in a prolonged fasted state your body uses your own fat as fuel as it has nothing else to use and the keto side of thing makes it very efficient at using/burning stored fat.
When I put my weight/height (280/6ft) in a calculator it says to eat 2300 calories to lose weight, but I try to stick to 2k since my body has adjusted and I want faster progress.
Thanks so much and good luck to you! Sounds like you are doing the right things.
Completely agreed on all points. I'm aware that I'll need to adjust my exercise routine and likely eat more to have a sustained loss and stabilize my weight. For now, I'm just riding this out until I can get as low as I can, thereby increasingly my ability to be more mobile.
I have tried fasting when I was eating more, but I've found I need a more consistent calorie flow to not crash. However, I do plan to incorporate intermittent fasting once I hit the next stage.
It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't do it again.
