My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (20 Viewers)

If they offer one through “anal insertion,” don’t do it. I’ll never make that mistake at a Dollar General again. Starting to think that guy in the Molly Hatchet t-shirt wasn’t even a doctor.

I was suspicious of my recent colonoscopy too :confused

Just an update, I'm 48 hours post monoclonal (regeneron) and still have

Chills
Upset stomach
Coughing
Puking
Decreased appetite

I posted in the covid thread in politics earlier, they say Omicron is proving resiliant to the majority of monoclonal treatments, except one that I think is more common in europe, but even then required 2-3x the normal dosage to have an impact

Wasn't the magic bullet I was hoping for

Only one magic bullet being talked about right now, and it probably isn't something you want to hear.

No, THIS is what I want to see. Not inneffective boosters lining the pockets of big pharma for eternity, something that actually works, I'd be on board with that

Monday when we got our shots TONS of vaxxed people were complaining they still kept getting Covid

This story gives me hope, thank you

Wellllllll, not sure you can call the boosters “ineffective”. I have 3 coworkers with omicron right now and the worst symptoms they have is a little tiredness. No puking, coughing, fever, chills or upset stomach. Based on the pics from our Teams meeting this morning, one of them as a greater appetite than even I do….

I really wish people would stop with the “they’re vaccinated they got Omicron OMFG vaccinations are pointless” argument.

Thinking that COVID infections are equal in all respects between vaccinated, boosted, and unvaccinated people is at best intentionally disingenuous and at worst woefully stupid.

That’s because everyone knows that Family Dollar is the place to go for COVID treatment. Dollar General is just a bunch of quacks.

Call down that river, I'm sure it's a bluff...

Better than a needle. Get well.

I'm almost feeling human again after this bout with Covid. Hopefully a few more days and I'll reach that light at the end of the tunnel.

I feel like my appetite is improving and my energy, so we should be on the home stretch
All things considered, having a few days off for the holidays isn't the world's worst timing for a bout with the bug.

I got my covid infection last april, but it was light... just 3-4 days with difficult breath and small appetite.
I understood it was over when I ate a wonderful dish...
linguine panna & funghi

Hope you get well soon

Just another update, aside from an occasional cough I am almost fully recovered. No longer confined to eat just bananas, apples, soup, crackers and toast I'm able to eat some more complex foods (albeit I can barely finish half of a meal given how my body adjusted to eating so little over two weeks)

Jenn, despite going through Covid as well, took amazing care of me. My neighbors are frigging angels and mowed our lawn for us (I think about a year ago the husband had been injured so I took it upon myself to mow their lawn to help out and they've returned the favor many times over).

Lots of friends and family reached out to check on us, offer assistance, etc. and it's been truly amazing for all the support. I'm still taking it easy and hoping in the next couple of days to be back to 100%
