My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (21 Viewers)

Oh man I am gonna send this guy home penniless

I limp in the SB with :jh::th::ts::8h:

Flop :ad::tc::8c:

I pot, two callers

Turn :4s:

I pot for $140, one caller, other guy all-in for $130

River :js:

I check, guy says $250? In the form of a question. I fold, he shows

:9d::7s::4h::3c: for an open-ender with no pair or flush backup, or wrap outs

I am going to destroy this buffoon

Le sigh. See a rainbow flop of Q76 holding 9854

Check to the preflop raiser who pots, two callers, I checkraise pot to $505 with $45 behind, he pots, another guy all-in for less

We agree to run twice

First board :td::qs:
Second board :kd::6s:

So I was a favorite, he stacks off with top and bottom pair (same doofus with the 9743 from earlier) and he's rewarded with boats on both boards

I feel like I'm being cheated by this guy, he plays awful and hits every magical river

Check his birth certificate for Cuban ancestry!

We win a hand after calling a raise and flopping all three pair

We are rock with TT92 and call a raise to 20, multiway to

Flop :kh::qs::th:

We fold to a $100 bet by the original raiser. Turn :qc:

She bets, they fold, she shows :ah::qh: but don't see the other cards

Didn't want to chase the underfull as I might be drawing almost dead if I fill up

We have :qd::jd::ts::9d: and REALLY want to see a flop, but people start raising and reraising, so we give up our $2 SB instead of calling the $400+ it's at when it gets to me

I would not have won

First hand of note, rock is the HJ, we call $5 in the CO with :as::js::5h::5c:

SB (active player) raises to 20, two callers, we call

Flop :ac::jh::2d:

Checked to us, we bet pot for $85, no takers

There's an EP raise to 20 from action, we call in the SB with :kh::qs::ts::8h:

Another action player in the BB pots to 120. Three callers. I know my hand will do better headsup so I repot, EVERYONE goes all-in

I flop a straight draw but whiff, lady with T9xx wins it

Good grief. We see a flop with :2c::3c::3h::5h:

Flop is :tc::4d::3d:

Checked to us, we pot, guy in blinds cold calls

Turn :qc:

He checks, we pot for 375, he shoves for 700 total, we call, he only goes once

He turns over :qd::qh::td::6d:

Like, if a diamond hits the turn I can get away. He never has top set on the flop as played, so the only card I can't see fucking me is the Queen

At least I'm open-ended so I have a small bit of hope

River :4c: and we double him up

Ok against that hand pre youre a big favorite, but against Asxxx your basically flipping. And the kt and t6 are connected yes but just barely, if it was kkjt or even double suited kings I'd like your hand much better.

Just seems like you have a slightly above average hand, nothing to go crazy with pre. Especially since you announced last hand, you can't expect to have your opponents respect your tighter play, which takes away any fold equity.
I thought his hand was crap too, so I ran some simulations and as far as Omaha goes, it was a decent favourite, 65:35 against a random hand. I even ran your Axxx scenario:

In for 2k we are down to $210 after losing two big pots

We limp :js::jd::8s::7d: and action player on button makes it $30

Bunch of callers, we limp repot all-in, THREE people have $210 hands and call lol

Board comes :qc::6h::2s::tc::ad: and the lady with QJT3 wins with two pair

-2k today

This feels spewy. (I should know)

It's really not. A double suited and connected hand with a pair on my short stack against the action players raise is fine

Equities preflop run very close together. My hand is only in trouble against QQxx, KKxx or AAxx

Facing another double suited connected hand (and these guys weren't showing up with hands this good) my hand is a coin flip.

If I manage to get players out and the hand headsup with dead money, even better

We have AKJ8 on an AK4 rainbow flop

Guy in blinds bets 25, one caller, we pot in CO, the guy in the blinds calls

Turn Q, he check-calls off his remaining $225 and we agree to go twice

He has AKQ5

First river Q
Second River 8

He wins three-quarters

We raise :ad::js::td::8c: on the button after limpers to 25, multiple callers

Flop :qd::9s::5d:

Guy in MP bets 50, I pot to 260 on a 375 stack

Guy in SB cold-calls???

Guy in blinds thinks for awhile, shoves for $370 total. Third player calls, we go twice

First board :jd::7d:
Second board [brick] :6c:

The guy in MP has 55xx and we chop. Pretty bad to stack off with bottom set, he's not in great shape against my nfd plus wrap, and could be drawing to 1 out if I have a higher set

Either way, we chop up some money and I get a little healthier

Not the worst of nights, but getting quartered for stacks earlier when we were 85% to chop, 10% to win and 5% to lose means we ultimately take a $430 loss on the session

Playing 5/5/10. Only bought in for $500 because a known maniac sat down and announced he only has 15 minutes to play

Needless to say we are seeing multiple restraddles

Just saw a guy raise preflop to $75 with 6655, then bet $300 on the Q32 flop and get two callers. Turn and river 99 and the three check it down

Maniac announces two pair, then shows a 3. Other guy shows A3, the 5566 guy almost mucked the river but scoops lol
