Yeah I agree lol but I didn't expect much.

Only 6 tables and it's now on the gaming floor instead of a dedicated room.
Also I realized they do not use dedicated poker room chips anymore. It's the same as the pit games

And this week in “Crappy Chip Land” the new Bally’s branded casino (had been Golden Gates) quite possibly the worst chips in Colorado……..actually I KNOW they are…..

Does anyone know if the Resorts World inlays are removable? They look huge! Maybe a new size, not sure I can think of another house mold chips with inlays that size.
I haven't personally removed inlays from the exact chips you are asking about, but I have removed inlays from several thousand chips & I see no reason why it couldn't be done.

The house mold would stop me from doing it, but that's just me....

Like BG said, I tried to pick up some racks of them, but the poker room used these instead:

I did find the beautiful chips, but they were out on the casino floor. I went to the cage to buy (I think it was 5 racks) of them and run, but the cage said you had to get the chips at the table.

The Carson Nugget is not a big fancy casino - The card room had the feel of a home game (the dealers also played), & you got up to get your own drink from the soda machine. The casino felt like the place that social security checks go to die - Nits buy in for $100 tops. The tables probably didn't have more than 100 singles in the dealer's tray, and walking away after buying them - I'm sure I would have been stopped. I doubt they would appreciate someone shutting down all 5 pit games for a bunch of collectors.

Sad day from the collection standpoint but I finished up $6 in a fun poker room, so I'd say it was worth the trip (provided you were going to be there already).
Superb :)

The Red Lion in Elko, NV has rebranded as the Maverick Casino Hotel.

I like the logo but the chips are not exciting. I guess they went with chips that would wear slower rather than nice THC chips that would be more appealing to us collectors.

First $300 I’ve ever seen, I’m sure I’ll feel dumb seeing the answer..but why??

Maybe used when you buy in or rebuy at 1/2 (where the max is often $300)? Put the one buyin chip down, dealer or big stack changes it? Just a theory

A casino opened a few months ago pretty close to where I live, unfortunately no poker room though but snagged a pic of some of the chips, looks like Bud Jones to me? Or is it Matsui

Anyone going to Lake Tahoe any time soon?

$1 Hard Rock Lake Tahoe 2nd issue 2021
Just took a look at the Chip Guide. Looks like they may have just recently issued that one. Might be able to find them in good condition. Looks like a really nice candidate for a Cali $100 relabel

The $5 looks like BJ, but I don't recognize the spot pattern on the $25.
