They’re spreading 6/12 and 8/16 at the ‘Shoe? Hadn’t seen that on Bravo yet, just 4/8 and they use $1s.

I know conceptually that’s where they’re played, I play a ton of 8/16.

I’m just not seeing this at the Horseshoe and wondering if they’re a drop chip or something that is hard to get.

Another Las Vegas $1 hotstamp.

Hotstamp does not have the TH&C logo like the inlay version does, so this may be an error and need to be re-printed since mfg logo is required in NV.

Most often, the mark is a top hat and cane in the mold, or a UV mark with house molds. I wonder wher it is on that hotstamp chip? Maybe a UV somewhere, or maybe an RFID code?

I can't imagine the casino would pony up for RFID on a chip if they are "going cheap" by doing a hot-stamp version. I also can't imagine paying the expense for RFID on a $1 chip. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems against the cost savings removing features from a chip would introduce.

Yeah, my bet would be they just forgot to put the TH&C on the stamp and you will see it on future versions.

Nevada Gaming regulations currently require that the chip manufacturer be identified on all cash checks. GPI/Paulson typically complies with this by using a Top Hat & Cane marking (either debossed into the mold or added as a UV symbol or microdot (which often also contains the Paulson brand name). RFID would be another potential way to identify the chip manufacturer.

Boyd is the parent company of the casino, not a chip manufacturer.

Orleans hotstamp $1s are way too diffcult to get considering what they are, lol.
They are only on the floor games currently and apparently not going to be used in the poker room? IDK how/why you would do that..

New chips from WA State. No poker. This place has taken over in the location of the old Iron Horse Casino, which used nasty beat up Chipco’s. Place has probably 15 tables, mainly Pai Gow and Blackjack. They aren’t TRK, but they sure beat the stuff coming out of Texas lately.

Those Ocean's 11 chips look like Matsui. The fact that @punter8 says that they are slippery makes me think that they actually might be. I didn't think that US-based casinos used Matsui. I thought they were mostly European and Asian casinos.

I do have to say that the inlay artwork is very nice.

It may be that Matsui can be gotten at a better price. BJ considered a prestige line at GPI/Angel.

These are very nice and look classy. By far the best newer chips I have seen in a while.
