Last night was a blast, finally got to play with @wonderpuddle new Jack Rabbit Slim set. Took down 1st in the tourney, chopped first and second money. In for $40 out for $145. Played a little cash after , in for $200 out for $167

Likewise man. Had a good time. My only regret was not making it earlier so I can enjoy your guys' company and the mixed games some more. Will try to make up for that next game. Not going to spoil anything, but can't wait for your project to surface via some pr0n!!!

Thanks guys. I’ll get a proper pron post at some point in the future. Shout out to @timinater on the label design and @Gear for amazing labels, as always. Waiting on a couple things to arrive before the set is complete, but I had enough chips labeled to get her on to the felt last night. Got a pic of barrels of each denomination that has already been labeled before setting up for the game last night (fracs not yet complete):

First time we’ve played with a $10 chip since Krish busted out the giraffes at @Windwalker ’s initial PCF game and I have to say, I really like playing with a purple $10. Obligatory flashback Friday pic:

Now I’m wishing I had $10 chips in more of my sets. I know it’s not efficient. But I love it.

I know the purists would chastise you for the $10 chip, but I love them. I have a $10 chip in my Palais set, and I think it’s great to get more chips on the table. I also use both $.25s and $.50s in a couple sets. I can only imagine the tongue lashing for doing such a horrendous thing.

Your set’s incredible, and the extra chips are just an added bonus!

Tourney time

Tonight was the finale of the Havana Cardroom League @WhiteMamba1646 ’s place. Super tight race going into this final event with 9 of us in the running for league payouts.

Tourney was super tough, as we played longer levels and deeper stacks than typical. But I grinded an average stack to the final table.

Crazy competitive as 6 of the 9 were all still alive and fighting for trophies.

We get down to 5 players and 4 of the 5 are still fighting for the last three trophies. Several crazy hands but Mike B busts when his pocket kings get cracked and he’s bubble boy. Then @WhiteMamba1646 busts Asshole Brian to get us to the final three and he and I clinch trophies, we just don’t know who gets what place yet. Shortly thereafter, @WhiteMamba1646 shoves pocket 2s into my pocket 10s and he gets eliminated to finish in 4th place in the overall league standings. I go heads up with a small chip lead. I shove AQ preflop and get called by K7. I flop a Q but he flops two hearts. I dodge on the turn...but a river heart cripples me.

I somehow rally back and eventually I shove 44 into 7J. He flops a 7 but I flop a 4. And we are almost back to even. I then shove AK and he calls with 89. But the board ran out badly and the river gives him the straight.

So I end up taking second place in tonight’s tourney and third place in the overall standings.

Cash afterwards was a blast but I was exhausted and called it quits early. In for $100, out for $211.

Super fun. Can’t wait until we start up the 2021 season of the league.
