Official Home Game Pics Thread! (119 Viewers)

That's a slick PNY button. Captures the "coolness" and the "grittiness" of NY. May be my all time favorite. Now we need a "best DB" thread.

Calling @jbutler

My best DB of all time wouldn't be too interesting. To the horror of many here, I'm sure, my preferred DB is the standard one with no fanciness added.

$20's in play

Ya, my new 'Blue Steel' THC mixed game set was a huge hit. Almost everyone commented about how much they liked the chips. They were also amazed by the fact that I was able to walk out of the Paris with a couple racks of $1s  :ROFLMAO:. Sadly, they liked them even more than my Nevada Lodge and Pick Hobson's! :(

The Golden Eagle $5s in barber pole stacks are just INSANE by the way... So much so that I had to order a couple more racks. I only got 4 racks initially, but we got them all in play pretty early on.

St. Patrick's day games at Trihonda's house:

Played a two table tourney to start...

Unfortunately for @HanShot1st he runs his set of sixes, against my pocket aces, in a rather unusual runout on a 6J2 board... we get it all in on the flop, and he thinks his set is good... Turn is a J, he boats up, and then the River is a J... admittedly gross way to busto..

In the end, I get heads up against a lucky horseshoe newbie... he's got 7 bounties and 4/5 of the chips... I take second place.

I had weird cards.. I had a ton of crappy cards (72o), but then had a few monsters.. not much in between. AA x 4, KK x 3, etc... most of which got action. Can't complain. My newbie opponent developed a huge chip lead early on. He did crazy things like check/calling the turned nut flush (with royal redraw). Then on the river, he had two players in front of him bet, and he just calls the river bet (with the nutz)... because of this, Players kept trying to attack him, and he kept catching great cards. He's a friend, and great guy, who doesn't play a lot of cards, but I'm glad he had a great night. As much as I wanted to win, I know sometimes a night like that can spark interest in playing more. If he decides to play more, he'll be a welcomed addition to my game. :)

By the time the tourney breaks, we are well past NLHE and into mixed games. Apparently, there's a ton of variance loving SOHE running already (at least it would appear so due to the number of rebuys I facilitated during the latter stages of the tourney).

We jump the cash game to the main table, and do rounds of Crazy Pineapple, Double Board PLO, SOHE, PLO8, etc..

I luckily avoid a massive 5-way all in hand of SOHE... it took seriously 15 minutes to figure out all the quarters, splits, 3 side side pots, etc... essentially, it slowed action on future SOHE Hands, as nobody wanted to get all in, and go through that again, lol...

I take my one $60 buyin up to around $200 at the end, so between the cash games, and 2nd place tourney finish, it's a good night of low stakes poker action for trihonda (yes, just referred to myself in the 3rd person, lol)...

Half those guys look like they just rolled straight out of The Sopranos.

Blades with my regular crew, 25c/25c NLHE and Limit Omaha. Started with $25.00, finished up with $46.50. First time with the new Blades in action and I love them. Just the 25c and $1, but next game, the $5 will be in :). Bit of a conservative game, but just warming up.
