A little horse racing and dealer’s choice at @IllCallOneTime ’s place Saturday. Pretty sure @IllCallOneTime, @TricycleClub , @yarbs , @gdubz and I all donated to @Gianvillante. Still a fun night

@MilouPilou1 if you have an extra setup of bridge sized Grimaud cards I’d be interested. My boy @Geremie has been hyping these cards up so much I wanna try them. Also my do you know where to get them in Europe? My family is going on vacation there and if there’s a retail store I’ll get a case or more for @Geremie if I can.

The only place I know selling Grimaud standard is https://www.naipeszaca.com/en/all-o...stico-3114523901496.html#/27-back_colour-blue

Hero is down $450 over the last three weeks in the $1/$2 NLHE home game he attends. He is up $700 at the dealer's choice $5/$10 limit game held on Friday nights in the basement of the bowling alley, which is closed for the holidays until after the New Year. In lieu of the limit game, one of the players in our NL group decided to host a dealer's choice NLHE/Omaha-hi game at his place, inviting a couple of limit players from the bowling alley.

One of those players has a big in your face personality and has demonstrated a willingness to mix it up. Hero believed his presence might shake up our $1/$1 dealer's choice NLHE/Omaha-hi game.

The player with the ginger beard usually drives the action. Mr. Limit is sitting to his right. They both bought in for $100. Hero and the other player to show up early bought in for $60 apiece.

Hero anticipated correctly. The two big dogs, Mr. Limit and Ginger, playing for a bloated pot.

Another big pot. Hero rebuys into the game for a hundred.

Three other players arrive. Hero goes on a run.

Action continues...

Mr. Limit is out. Ginger is in deep. Hero is the main beneficiary.

Less opportunity for pictures with fewer players and having to control the bank.

Ginger busted out at 4AM. Hero was happy to call it a night, however the remaining player wanted to play heads up.

Final picture of the session taken at 5AM, shortly after Hero cleaned up. To keep the flow of the game going, chips were exchanged for the two one hundreds on the table when we were down to three players.

Inauguration of the new Athenian Owl table tonight.
Two orbits of .50/.50 NLHE, one orbit of .50/.50 NL cuckoo holdem , which is roughly a crazy tight pineapple or three-card omaha switching to two-card omaha after the flop ( no PLO crap)
The table is meant for 8-handed or 9-handed games, but we got 10 players and more than 2K on the table tonight, due to the enthusiasm. :)
In for 60E, out for 480E

I didn't expect that I 'd put into use an 100E chip. I thought it was just decorative:)

Whoever said that guest sets bring luck to the owner owes me three crisp hundred dollar bills ;)

Just don't forget to vote for their V1 siblings in the HOF voting (these poor ones are V2) :)
