Playing at the weekly late nighter .50/.50, had a rare 2 table night. Buy in for $100. Second hand get 78dd, flop an open ender with a flush draw, action gets all in 3 ways, rivered the flush against Aces and top set. Tripled up on the second hand? Alrighty then! Maintained that stack for most of the night getting bounced between tables, then won a huge pot with 63o (lol) that boated on the river. Then we got short handed and they thought mixed games was a good idea. It was for me, scooping another big one right at the end of the night in omaha. In for $100, out for $710.

He bought them as blanks thinking he's put his own label on, but the stickers doubled the cost of the chip and he bailed on that idea

First Session of the year start off well, ending in the black.

It’s good to be hosting again with the regulars and I received quite a few overseas souvenirs from them.

Session started off well and I doubled up very early on in the session but punted off a big chuck of it when I tried to make a very bad timed bluff bet.

Managed to win a few medium pot towards the end to avoid a losing session

2022 Tournament of Champions. 12 player event instead of our normal 24. Invite only for event winners and top ranked throughout the season. Double the chips, normal blood structure. Gonna be a grind.

And all you purists don’t laugh at the 20/35/8/2 starting stacks. They love the stacks for this event.

This man to my right caught the craziest run of cards I've ever seen in my life. Last 5 hands: pictured agreement to only pay 5 together (5c/10c blinds, sort of an all-in to $5, his K6h beats my Qs), boat, boat, AQs, and then jacks vs my JTs. Insane. Walked away with most of the money left on the table but I couldn't be mad, awesome guy...just annoyed hes headed back to Brazil so I can't win it back.

Played super loose and generously as a thank you to people coming out and enjoying my new chips. Paid everyone's tab for a few bomb pots to the flop, nothing optimal. Definitely wasn't a lucky night; lost a few ridiculous hands but was still way up before the Brazilian Wax happened at the end there! Oh well, people had a blast, we love hosting, and we end happy.

Pizza was second/third dinner for all. Started a couple hours earlier with a mass pickup from Chic Fil A.

Pizza is now gone. Imbibe, poker, food, good movies. Only takes 3 of us to turn a mini meetup.
