Official Home Game Pics Thread! (49 Viewers)

Had to cancel my bi-weekly game for tonight, because my daughter is sick, so I decided to rearrange a bit for the next game. I think there will be slightly more room around the tables now (one table is pushed against the wall and will only get pulled out if we have 3 tables worth of players)

Gross spot. Limp shoved A2 in the small blind three handed against K10 in the big blind after playing good, stubborn short stack poker for the previous level in a half.

He pulls the whole "nice hand, nice hand, good game" bullshit on the flop and turn, and he binks his out on the river after being a 2:1 dog going into it to knock me out.

3rd place was an excellent result for me considering how card and spot dead I was all night. Picked up queens only once in early position, raised to 600 at 100/200 blinds, folded around. Didn't see a hand better than AQ nonsuited all night besides that.

Ran pretty well in our tournament for most of it, then bubbled on a flop shove with middle pair called by a flush draw that got there on the river. Af least I got the show off my sweet PCF coin/capper :cool

Played our usual .25/.25 cash game after, in for $105 out for $111  :ROFLMAO:
Feature hand of SHESHE where I got stacked early on before rebuying and clawing back

Glad to say that my group of drunk, no attention paying, regular home game guys had no problems treating the Tropicana Evansville snappers as quarters in our game on Friday, even at 4am!

(Didn’t have time to remove the labels, tried overlabeling a barrel but it made them too slippery and wobbly, so left the chips alone.)

Great casino chips at a great price. Didn’t feel cheap or too heavy. Obviously not at all like clay or ceramics but like them on their own merits.

What cards are these?

Last Night was the first event of the 2023 season... Ladies' Night!!

I made chicken tacos in the pressure cooker with various toppings. Sides of corn, meat/cheese/pretzel, different corn, cheesy bacon, popcorn, and chip/dip.

Last year, we had a member donate a lot of cans of pineapple juice. What do do with it..... oh, pina coladas!

I might have had a few.....and used a capper from @illudene

The capper ran good, or I did, or the drinks did. Either way, the chips all ended up in my stack!

As the host , I preferred BB = 2 x SB, it just a personal preference thing since I was taught and introduced to poker blinds that way

I do have a rack of 50c for the set but sometimes I like to see more $25 & $100 in play as well so that the two Main reasons

and thanks about the though on the chips :) Jacks is my first set into paulson collection so they will always have a special place in my collection
