I am sure your high taxes are being well spent on good governance like roads, schools, alcohol addiction, and management of natural resources.

Nope. Pensions of the former state employees when we voted to allow non-state run liquor stores. Blessing and a curse. Hard to find allocated bottles now.

My first try. Stronger than my go to 4 Roses Single but much more complex. Mmmm

Edit: I blame you guys!

I had Angel's Envy once, and it was super tasty. On a special occasion I might be convinced to splurge for the Rye. The yearly cask strength releases are available around me, but that's too high for me.

1792 12 Yr: Nice nose, vanilla, caramel and a lil banana. Continues through the palate which also includes some age. I get a bit of oak there but not overpowering. That classic 1792 LONG finish as well. I like this one. Very sweet with dessert notes. I think I prefer the Bottled in Bond, but this one is certainly tasty

Thanks for taking one for the team. I’m not a fan of very oaky bourbons. I’ll stick to my 12yr, 9yr and single barrels. :)
Yeah, they were $100. Not worth it. The bad part is that I have 3 bottles. I hope it opens up over the next several weeks.

Enjoying the OESO right now...only a 1/4 bottle left.

O - Production @ 4 roses distillery - duh, right
E - Mash Bill E = 20% rye
S - Straight whiskey distillation - another duh -- they all are afaik
O - Rich Fruit Yeast Strain

My other 3 bottles are all OBSV, and are terrific ;)

Cheers @Big Jilm
This batch here is chocolate cherry heaven
