Full House
So which ones are worth chasing?
I'd say anything is worth trying once if you can afford it/find it. I just know my flavor profile now and find the following worth it for me.
ECBP releases
Stagg Jr Releases
4roses barrel strength store picks
All the George T Stagg
Weller 107, full proof and WLW are the only Weller products I would chase to drink.
MGP over 5 years old and cask strength
Old Rip 10
Pappy 15
Old Fitz releases are very solid for the right price
Four Roses Limiteds are the top of the food chain in my opinion, they compete with BTAC for sure.
Surprises recently: Blantons straight from the barrel (10x better than regular blantons) and Parkers Heritage Heavy Char (super solid)
Once you find the flavor profile or profiles you like it makes it easier. For instance, EH taylor bp is great if you can get it around 150, but GTS is just way better, so given the choice I would trade the BP for a GTS all day since the secondary value of each are pretty close.
All of this assumes you are a drinker like me, this year I opened/tried everything I could, and now that I know what I like/want I can start getting back ups/chasing pretty verticals like a tater or investing/trading. I would love to have the weller lineup, but I wouldn't drink them, it would be more of a collection/investment thing, and I am not sure if I want to go that crazy down the rabbit hole.
