Ok, give me a minute and I will edit the post with maybe some good guesses!

@Saoliver
A: I give up
B: Baker's 7 Year
D: Alberta Cask Strength Rye - 132 proof!

woah!!!!!!

I cannot believe that A was the EC toasted barrel. I was reluctantly picking a Beam product but it really wasn't correct even in my mind -- I just know the Knob lover you are. I made a guess based on what you know I haven't had. Knob would have been nuttier and woodier, no? Still want the EC TB b/c I don't have one. It merely lost to 2 better whiskeys imo.

My 1 and 2 make sense to me. EHT has its place, but damn if they all don't have that "cleaning products" smell initially on the nose. Add the proof up and BOOYAH - I knew it was EHT BP - I am a 25% whiskey ninja!

That Alberta Cask Rye is a special whiskey. I am glad I own one I have yet to crack!!!!

THANKS DUDE!

alright, it "ejaculated the most toasty rye notes known to mankind" into my mouth LOL

I've had a hankering for some really nice Irish whiskey, so I stopped by my regular place to pick up a bottle of Redbreast. Two others jumped in the cart while I was there. You guys are really a *very* bad influence

I’m glad that you love the Alberta, since you just picked up a bottle.

If you don’t love the EC Toasted, I can trade something else to you and keep it. :)

Do you love the Peerless and EHT BP?

I need to be on the west coast lol. I haven't tried any of these. I think next week I'll be picking me up a "birthday bottle" of something. I haven't had the 1920 in quite some time. Hmmmmm

Here's a helpful website. State of Ohio liquor control. It's basically the MSRP. Only difficulty is if Ohio doesn't sell something, then it won't be there.
Distiller says $$$$ out of $$$$$ for price, which is $100-200 (yes that is unhelpful, that is a BIG range). I found where somebody paid $150 for the rye.

So, good news today. I've worked hard for a couple weeks to achieve some personal goals (which I've mentioned before in this thread) and I've reached a point where I can have my first celebration. Never had the 1792 full proof (this one is single barrel). I'm opening it tonight. It's challenger, Bulleit barrel strength. Which clearly I have drank before.

If I'm not too drunk, I might also try comparing it to EC Barrel Proof A119. I like the Bulleit, but I have no desire to seek out more. I really like EC BP. It will be interesting to see where the 1792 falls. I also have a place where I know I can buy more of the 1792 @ $43 out the door if I want more. See ya tonight. Time to go to buy alcohol (Clynelish 14) for somebody else who wants it.

I am VERY tempted to drink these with you tonight. I have a 1792 Full Proof that I haven’t opened. The Bulleit is my favorite full proof for cocktails, but a rough one to have neat. I’ve got ECBP B520 and C920.

Hmmm....tag me when you are ready to pour.

And congrats on hitting your goals.

Everyone I've talked to says the regular 1792 Full Proof is better than the store picks. I really like the regular...

Tough to find. I bought the 14th edition 10 year heavy char for $120. Yet to crack it, but I have not seen a single negative review. Overwhelmingly positive reviews
Got it for $179 out the door, so not a terrible markup. Next three stores had it at $550 and up, so....

Excited to try this one—look at that deep, dark color!
