You love it?Fomo is real... and sometimes it pays to buy in

It's the best rye i've had so far imo... but with that said, i have only a handful of ryes on hand and tried maybe 10 in total . I'll pick up a few more to add and compare it to, but this one and the Willet estate 4yr are up there for me right nowYou love it?
1792 is getting better on the rocks. It *BURNED* neat, and overwhelmed any flavor it had. The Bulleit is actually getting worse as the ice melts. So, what do you think of them?
I have those bottles too!1792 is getting better on the rocks. It *BURNED* neat, and overwhelmed any flavor it had. The Bulleit is actually getting worse as the ice melts.
The Bulleit Barrel Strength wins the "neat" contest.
The 1792 Full Proof wins the "2 cubes of ice" contest.
Next up (probably in a couple weeks, my next set of goals will take about that long.)

If you want to join me for the taste test, stock up! I think it is pretty cool that @Saoliver had the same bottles as me and tried them at the same time. How did you like them good sir?
If you can find it anyway!^^^ This thread is useless without pics.
Started with a taste of the Three Chord Whiskey Drummer Batch 3 from @ssanel54 —thanks!
Now back to my leading contender for best all-around high-proof bourbon (especially given its price), Stagg Jr.

[Edit]: Had two pours of Stagg Jr. and now a taste of its big brother.

Any bottle from the flora and fauna series is delicious. Oh to own the entire collection. I’d need a separate roomDailuaine is one of my favorite (chronically overlooked and virtually unknown) hidden gems! The Flora and Fauna bottling is great.
I like it. My wife loves it. So, I’ll have to find room in the cabinet.I was just about to go buy 2 bottles of 1792 Full Proof since I've never had it, and here you guys were talking shit on it late last night while I slept!
I like it with ice, very decent. I despise it neat. For $40, I do not feel like I got a deal or that I got ripped off. At 125 proof there is plenty of ethanol in there for the price to keep me happy.I was just about to go buy 2 bottles of 1792 Full Proof since I've never had it, and here you guys were talking shit on it late last night while I slept!
From the regular F&F collection, the only bottles I have left (not that I had the whole range) are the Dailuaine (open) and Rosebank (closed). Passed on getting two bottles of the Mortlach for GBP 32/ea a year before it went haywire...still regret that.Any bottle from the flora and fauna series is delicious. Oh to own the entire collection. In 1997 they release a cask strength version of the bottlings. That would be a grail collection. Have no idea what it would cost

$32 for the Mortlach???? I would have bought every bottle!!From the regular F&F collection, the only bottles I have left (not that I had the whole range) are the Dailuaine (open) and Rosebank (closed). So, Weller 107 for $99?
Fair enough. My trigger price is $75, but I haven’t found it yet. I was posting mostly to see if anyone could convince me to pull the trigger anyway. I’m going to keep looking. FWIW, the same shop had ETL for $239, which is the lowest I’ve seen (although I’m not ready to spend more than $125-150 on that one...yes, I know that means I’m not getting it any time soon).$49.95 msrp as you likely know and I am probably the last guy that should be answering this question. I realize that you live in an area where these greedy fuck heads are legally allowed to rape you guys right in the culo. I also realize that I have the opposite of that situation. That said, if it is the lowest price you can find, why not? After a brief internet search, looks like that's the best you're gonna do man. BUY IT!!
I wouldn't pay more than retail for any mashbill #2. Every blind taste test I've seen puts Blanton's at the top and its pretty findable.Fair enough. Okay. I recently purchased about 8 bottles so I’ll have to wait until the wife doesn’t take notice. But I’ll add a mm46cs to my list.46 cask strength, or just 46 I suppose
