12, 107 or SR?
Special Reserve isn’t in the same league. More of a mixer, so you can disregard that.

If you’re used to higher proof whiskey, then definitely the Antique 107 ... there’s much more character and is an overall fantastic bottle. I have it stockpiled at my home.

The 12yr, however, has a much smoother profile and is more reminiscent of its older 90 proof brothers. It’s a great intro to the “aged, more oaky” options out there.

You can’t go wrong with either, and the prices aren’t that terrible compared to secondary here in the states, other than the smaller bottles.

Cheers!

Some new stuff that just came in. Especially excited to try the Michter’s.

Michters 20 is my second favorite bottle ever (I’ve had the 2014 & 2017). The 25yr is delicious, but I only had a single pour.

I had 6 bottles of Michters 10 from 2004, which is ~16-17yr Stitzel-Weller juice back before the Michters shakeup. It’s my numero uno of all time and I’m down to my last 12-14 oz. Completely unobtainable for me ever since, unfortunately.

Enjoy!

Awesome, thanks for the advice. Especially good to know about the Special Reserve.

I’d say the 12 would have a much broader appeal, and you can say it’s the same as PVW 12 year.

I only have an 18 year marriage in the city. I'll bring some more down at some point.
Never tried it, but many people list this in their top 3 of the line up.

Given your propensity for collecting things, surprised you havent considered building the vertical? And Yes, I mean every BP release + Orange Tube Small Batch.

Now that would be a project. Whee.

That’s a solid collection. Saw someone selling 10 raffle spots at 1k each for a tornado bottle.

I just sent a case of sample bottles to WW's house....
That's some smart meta-gaming right there...

Here's today's "discovery". These are #2s. The missing bottle is the one I bought last week or the week before. I guess people still don't want it at even this price. That or they are restocking and getting rid of all the corporate wide inventory through this store.

@SpaceMonkey has the Discovery vertical. We are going to hopefully sample some of these soon, and then maybe can help you recycle that store inventory

I'm a big fan of the #2. And that's the lowest price I've seen.
