If I had to guess, I'd say that I've spent close to $5k on whiskey since the start of Covid...probably on the over side of $5k.

I'm not going to do that math brother, yikes...........

I have spent a shit ton on poker chips since covid as well. Hell, I think I bought two or three sets while we were still in complete lock down.

That shelf is like $1350, not including the Rhetoric 25...ugh.

I've had two PCFers have me pick up and ship bourbon from dinky liquor stores in Chicago. Apparently you can find good bourbon cheap when stores want to move it. The last guy bought two bottles of this:

Gotta pump up those numbers! I made a spreadsheet to see how much I spent between May 2020 and December 2020 so I could see which stores I spent the most at and were rewarding me for shopping there. It was a massive mistake.

I've yet to find a bottle of Gold here in the US for a reasonable amount. Never seen one in a store, either.
Yeah, the secondary prices for Gold Stateside are ridiculous. I think I essentially paid British RRP for all of them, the Weller included.

I paid £84.99 a bottle for the Gold, and £59.99 a pop for the Single Barrel — I feel like the Gold was a steal at that price?

Wow yeah, those are great prices, I believe that's pretty close to retail. I can't touch Blanton's for less than $100 around here, and the few bottle of gold I've seen were like $600-$700.... Ridiculous thinking it used to be like $50 a pop and all over the place a few years back.

$600 to $700?! And I thought the $460 on Caskers was insane!

wow...such BS...its def not worth more than $150. I'm about done with my bottle, and was looking at buying a few more since it shows well to guests. I paid $270 before for two bottles, but I wouldnt pay more than that. It's not even worth $120 I don't think. But it sure does look nice on the shelf
