Flush
I paid $130 and went back for a second bottle. It's very good.
Good to hear. I picked one up for $109, but trying to finish some old bottles before opening new ones

Yeah so I'm a lying asshole, couldn't even make it 24 hours. All good deals though....

Wow. On a cruise to St Maarten about 4 years ago I picked up a couple bottles of SFTB for ~$60 each. Guess I should have bought a case. It’s crazy what people will pay for a product that is good but on par with other $60 bottles that are easily found.Buuuuut on the bright side I was able to snap some of these Blanton's pics while I was out - one was even on sale!!!

This is why I think I'm ultimately going back to scotch. Bourbon is for diabetes.damn, now just hear me out here.....the Rowan's Creek tastes like deep fried Twinkies sprinkled with cinnamon, but roasted (briefly) over an open camp fire (somehow)
My opinion and it is correct!
edit: Nothing wrong with this bottle, but Noah's Mill is still preferred.
Which Woodford is that? $140 not outrageous, depending...Buuuuut on the bright side I was able to snap some of these Blanton's pics while I was out - one was even on sale!!!

(My best guess on this is 1940s-50s.)
We ever have that meetup up there in Jersey, you'll have to point me in that direction.Woodford Batch Proof 123.2, I believe it's part of their Master's Collection, and I think you're right it's not a bad price. This is one my better stores, not everything in the case is super overpriced, many of their nicer bottles are $10ish above retail. This is the same store where I picked up the Maker's SE4-PR5 for $70, which I thought was pretty good (its $100+ elsewhere).
I still consider myself a noob to bourbon hunting, but in my limited experience anything from Blantons/Weller/Stagg is 3 to 10 times MSRP around here. I'm not too proud to say that you guys who grab bottles and bottles of Weller for like $40-$50 make me green with envy lol
I’m more of a Bo and Luke Duke than a Heisenberg. You and Walter White...
They only had those 2No Port finish? Or did you drink it already?
At that price, give them my telephone number and I'll hook them up with four!Buuuuut on the bright side I was able to snap some of these Blanton's pics while I was out - one was even on sale!!!

I'd pass on the Willet at those prices imo - usually around $85 for that big guy and $42 for the 750mlDo folks here like Willet? Should I buy?

Or Knob 13 cask strength?

I’ve never seen a 12 year cask strength, but I can’t imagine it is 2x as good as the 9yr right next to it. That is the best value in Bourbon IMO.Do folks here like Willet? Should I buy?
