I’ve never seen a 12 year cask strength, but I can’t imagine it is 2x as good as the 9yr right next to it. That is the best value in Bourbon IMO.
Yay I chose wisely!!

Also picked up a willet only because haven't seen them on shelf before and ill try it and put it on the poker night cart.

Redbreast 12. But it is much more expensive than Jameson - around $55. Slane is also good at around $25. It is rumored to be Bushmills.
I have been trying to try Redbreast 12. I'm going to an Irish club today and hope they have it. A place I went to last week, and a single pour was $12.

What are your go-to Irish Whiskey's? Trying to find something new. I like Jameson and Jameson Black Barrel.

I had a bottle of the Jameson Caskmates Stout that was very good.

I’ve heard great things about pikesville
Definitely a solid pour, especially at ~$50(?) - i have an OF rye and there's a pretty big difference imo. Still need to grab some Knob creek ryes
That runs the gamut! There shouldn't be any question as to what they are blind.
First time running them back to back and you're right lol - i knew what each glass was but the step up is pretty distinct .. AP is crushing it after the first go

Tonight I am comparing my Oppidan Solera to Eagle Rare. I look forward to drinking more when there is some competition involved.
The oppidan sounds pretty good, might have to track one of those down
