Huge thanks to @Klobberer for hooking me up! None of my local stores have this, and I've been desperate to try it.

Kudos on packing, too. My UPS driver could have been the Incredible Hulk and these bottles would still have arrived safely.

I'm assuming the included mac and cheese is a suggested pairing?

Didn't sound like whiskey when you shook the package, did it?

The only pour I've had of this was what Scott sent me. I think I need to seek out a bottle myself. This is a hard drink to rate from just one pour. A really unique flavor.

I pair my whiskeys with pinto beans. Mac&Cheese also a good choice.

I'm on the hunt for a Maker's Mark 46 Cask Strength. Shoot me a price before you buy it. I can get regular 46 for $30-35. Double that for 10-20 extra proof points, plus shipping, does not seem worth it. But you never know.

Place by me had it for $60. I believe that’s the state minimum here in MI.

$60 plus tax in PA, if I see one...

Clearly one of the best values in bourbon!

It’s whiskey. What’d I win?
I don’t know. Two level of prizes tier one is guess the type tier two is guess the brand.

I was told they are all non-allocated but not a one I like so far. Was so excited about this as I’ve wanted to do some blind tasting. But fear I’m going to be disappointed when I find it one is a bottle I actually like.

So my local mega liquor chain disappointed me for the last time today. They own 20-30 stores in N Indiana, and they either siphon off the good stuff at the top and sell it to their friends, or they stink at buying bourbon.

Wednesday is delivery day for the stores around me. Today the highlight was...regular Yellowstone, and the big store in town was allocated 3 whole bottles. Woo! Never seen Blanton's there, or Booker's, or McKenna, or any of the nice High West whiskeys. Never a sniff of Weller or Eagle Rare. Not even a Maker's Wood finishing series, or one of the $130 Woodford special bottles. Their last EC Barrel Proof was at least six months ago. On the bright side, when things don't sell, they are big enough that they do run sales and discounts sometimes. Bardstown Discovery #2 is still $99, and they still have plenty.

I will give them a little credit. They did get some Foursquare Sagacity 12 year rum in, and if it was warmer outside, I would have bought one. There are almost no rums that are better than that at a lower price point. My Kirk & Sweeney 23 year is close.

Crazy because I got like no heat. Admittedly I was drinking outside in much colder weather than Florida.
