I tried Yellow Spot, Red Breast Lustau, 12 year, 15 year and 12 year cask today. I liked the 15 year the best. There is a funk on that 12 year cask strength that seems like it should not be there, kind of unpleasant. I wonder if I got a bad bottle...

Maybe that's why they are discontinuing the 12y cask strength? Some Scotsman sneaked into the warehouse and pissed in all of it.

I love my bottle. Has a hint of baking chocolate on the nose and palate. Good chocolate, not the American shit.

Buy it and put it in my locker until ready to ship. I'll forward the funds.
If I see another one I will. I don't live down near Indy. Those are all posts from Indiana bourbon groups I'm in.

My store today only got one case. I got the first bottle of the six, which was cool, but that was my limit.

There are other stores where I will have a shot at finding this again.

Don't beat yourself up. I can usually find them around here. That's a good price though...

@Klobberer
Freaking delightful. I get caramel, chocolate, even like a toasted smores flavor. That oak comes through subtly and not aggressively given its age. I think this is DELICIOUS. I wish I had access to it here! Thanks for the sample dude!!

The Calumet 14 is very similar, if you see it. I can still get it in DE for $130.
