This is my whisky of the summer. This stuff is soo delicious. Nose is straight up plums and mangoes. Palate is straight up plums and mangoes. Long finish of plums and mangoes.

I found a second bottle, so I opened this one and I’ll take the other with me on vacation.

Sugar. Fruit. Rye spice. This is a really good Summer rye. I don’t say this often, but I wish that the proof was lower so that the heat on the finish didn’t overpower. Thanks for the recco. Same batch! My other bottle is different.

Got a decent score yesterday….this is round 2 with the Taylor barrel proof. Haven’t been able to get my hands on one in a couple of years. We just got the belle meade reserve in our stores.

My son gave me this for my birthday last night, my cousin also gave me 1 1/2 bottles of Blantons... I don't think she realized someone snuck half of one of the bottles she had in storage... she collected several bottles for a period.

MSRP is like $60, but secondary that $175 sounds a little low to me, although I am not neck deep in the secondary market to give you up to the minute pricing to the penny.

No Seagrass yet. But I found this guy for about $55. Could be their juice, could be MGP, they are transitioning, but what little I found says it’s very good.

Nice! The distributor of this in Indiana likes to get on facebook and say "oooo we have 8 cases coming to Indiana, but we aren't saying where, aren't we special" and my simple response is usually two words that aren't very nice. Glad you got some, the reviews are good and it seems tasty.

I have a store pick bottle of their 6 yr barrel select and mine says distilled in Indiana on the back label. Haven’t opened mine yet to give an opinion but the recommendation to buy came from my most trusted store manager!

I just checked the fine print on my bottle. It too says Distilled In Indiana. So I've got some MGP juice too. It's on my "to open" list during the next month or two.
