I don't know about the MM Private, but the rest of those are pretty good for the price. Solid pickups.
I opted for the MM store pick over the original JD pick I originally intended on grabbing. Their barrel stave series have been pretty tasty.

I just found a few of the B521 myself. Haven’t cracked a bottle yet. It’s the lowest proof so far, but I’m guessing that it’s still great.

A little over a year ago, $55 was msrp on these, at least around me. I looked it up, distributor margins are around 30%, and liquor store margins about 20%. So EC was charging distributors about $35 a bottle. Now that $70 is msrp, it means EC is charging distributors about $45 a bottle. Good for EC, bad for us, but also not great for the scalpers either.69.99 plus tax in NC...IF you can find it...IF
First pour of the B521 was very interesting. The nose is awesome but very one dimensional, tons of chocolate with a hint of the typical Elijah Criag oak, the slightly lower proof works very well here. The palate continues with the chocolate tones, but much darker, almost like a burnt chocolate. The char comes on stronger as the palette progresses. Finish is on the shorter side for an ECBP. I'll have to check this out again side by side with some of the previous offerings. Very good but a slight notch below the 2020 offerings.
