I was just telling @juankay20 that I really don't need any more bottles. But I saw one of my locals had a JD store pick and thought I'd stop by and grab it. Ended up walking out with these, lol....

All pretty good prices, I couldn't resist.

I don't know about the MM Private, but the rest of those are pretty good for the price. Solid pickups.

Ok boys and girls, today and tomorrow are delivery days. Yesterday was delivery day at a store near my new place of employment, but the best they had was some JD SB BP (133.1 proof, gasoline!).

I'm looking for these for "special delivery" if I remember correctly:
Blue Spot
RR 13

Post here, or PM me anything else.

My goals for hunting today are to find good and decently priced ryes for my infinity bottle, and to drink of course. I think Pikesville is at the top of my list, and I'm almost convinced that Whistle Pig Piggy Back is worth a try as well, but I think my Costco has those nice and cheap.

yes i'll take one of each of those if available.

I just found a few of the B521 myself. Haven’t cracked a bottle yet. It’s the lowest proof so far, but I’m guessing that it’s still great.
Likewise, I think I'm going to crack mine open tonight. I just got word that I was accepted into an awesome leadership program at my firm, so it's definitely time to celebrate!

The 136 ish proof is still my favorite!
From last year? Likely the A120, very tasty. I think my favorite recent offering has been the C920 (132ish)

69.99 plus tax in NC...IF you can find it...IF:(
A little over a year ago, $55 was msrp on these, at least around me. I looked it up, distributor margins are around 30%, and liquor store margins about 20%. So EC was charging distributors about $35 a bottle. Now that $70 is msrp, it means EC is charging distributors about $45 a bottle. Good for EC, bad for us, but also not great for the scalpers either.

First pour of the B521 was very interesting. The nose is awesome but very one dimensional, tons of chocolate with a hint of the typical Elijah Criag oak, the slightly lower proof works very well here. The palate continues with the chocolate tones, but much darker, almost like a burnt chocolate. The char comes on stronger as the palette progresses. Finish is on the shorter side for an ECBP. I'll have to check this out again side by side with some of the previous offerings. Very good but a slight notch below the 2020 offerings.

I saw this one the other day, looked interesting - Heaven's door finished in Redbreast casks. Anyone try it or hear anything about it?
