This is my first ever bottle of ECBP. I really like this a lot. I know most think some of the earlier releases of this are better, but I definitely wouldn’t mind grabbing another one if I see it.

At $60 a bottle, I would usually buy two of each release. At $75+ I've just been getting one. There are other barrel proofs that are nearly as good in that $50-60 range.

I grabbed a bottle earlier this year because it was on sale and the high proof intrigued me. It has become one of my favorite pours and has forever changed my perception of JD being just a good, moderately priced cola mixer.

I’ve opened 3 bottles. They are all similar and great. I didn’t really notice any differences between barrels or proofs.

The latest BP bottling is showing up around me at liquor stores and grocery stores. My first one is still quite full so I've not bothered with another. I got the same banana taste that you did, and it's really good. The JDBP is about $10 cheaper than ECBP now. Given a choice, I'm buying the JDBP.

I opened mine tonight and I really enjoyed it. Shared it with my wife’s uncle who was also very pleased. Granted, the two of us may have killed an over half full handel of regular Elijah Craig last Saturday, so we were well prepared to step up to BP.

Both JDSBBP and ECBP are regularly $69.99 in NC. I’ve seen the JD on sale occasionally for $60 but rarely ever see the EC in stores, let alone on sale. I doubt I’ll ever see the EC on sale either.
