If you don’t like it, send it my way. I only have 1 backup
They had two. It's not a store I go to much, maybe once a month. I do need to head back that way this week again, so if the backup is still there, I'll grab it. For me? For you? Who knows!

It's also slightly interesting that my bottle is from a batch of under 3,000 bottles, and the ones posted earlier are from a batch of 16,000 bottles.

Different batch? Now I want one

Neck pour.

How did you figure out the proof? Averaging what goes in?
At first, it was just the average of the first 13 additions of 2 ounces each. I didn’t take anything from it until it was completely filled. Now that it’s been filled and drank from is where it gets calculated a little differently. I take the current proof and multiply it by 12(since there’s now only 12 parts left) and then add the proof of my next 2 ounces that goes into the bottle to that number. Divide that total by 13 and that’s the new bottle proof. Keeping a consistent 13 parts always at 2 ounces/part is the key to having an accurate proof calculation. And yes, I’m a nerd!

Interesting....I have 7 additions of 2 ounces each in my current infinity bottle. I may try to math like this one day....

No way to calculate my infinity bottle. If it was good very little was “wasted” if it was bad I was more than happy to dump it into another bottle in an attempt to make it good.

I see multiple bottles of this stuff at my local Bevmo and Total Wines all the time. I've been waiting for a bigger coupon to get it since there's no rush. Is there a specific batch that you guys are going after?
Not sure about the Barrell Seagrass batches (mine is 118.4p, looks like some others have the 118.58p), but i picked up the barrell bourbon batch 27 based on some reviews - surprised i like it as much since there is dickel juice in it. the mineral taste isn't really there though, just mostly fruit

If that was an FAE02 I was about to be very jealous. Eagle Rare always a good acquisition.
Only reason I grabbed this bottle of Maker’s was because of the club that selected this particular bottle. They have a great track record for picks and their Russell’s Reserve Private Barrel for 2020 is my favorite bottle of all time (bought a case). I will always try their selections!

Starting at sagamore ryes...

Store pick barrel select $45
Double Oaked $60
Cask strength $65

One of each? Remind what the consensus is here?
The store pick barrel select is a steal at $45. It’s only a few proof points lower than the cask strength and it is 1-2 years aged more than the cask. My bottle is a 6 yr old. Website says the cask strength is a 4-5 year old.

All three are really good, and I’d probably grab one of each but I’d also be tempted to buy 2-3 of the barrel select!
